Abstract:
A signal generating circuit includes: a first signal amplifying circuit arranged to generate a first amplified signal according to a first supply current, a reference signal, and an output signal of the signal generating circuit; a soft-start circuit arranged to generate a control signal according to a soft-start signal; a current controlled circuit arranged to generate the first supply current according to the soft-start signal; and a pass transistor arranged to generate an output signal according to an error amplified signal and the control signal. The error amplified signal is derived from the first amplified signal.

Abstract:
Compounds having formula I, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, hydrates or N-oxides thereof are provided and are useful for binding to CXCR7, and treating diseases that are dependent, at least in part, on CXCR7 activity. Accordingly, the present invention provides in further aspects, compositions containing one or more of the above-noted compounds in admixture with a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.
Abstract:
Compositions and methods related to the removal of acidic gas. In one embodiment, compositions and methods are provided for the removal of acidic gas from a gas mixture using an aqueous amine solvent comprising water, a first amine, and a second amine, wherein the first amine contributes at least 50% by weight of the solvent's total amine concentration.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for controlling power consumption in a computer system. For each of a plurality of interactive applications, the method changes a frequency at which a processor of the computer system runs, receives an indication of user satisfaction, determines a relationship between the changed frequency and the user satisfaction of the interactive application, and stores the determined relationship information. The determined relationship can distinguish between different users and different interactive applications. A frequency may be selected from the discrete frequencies at which the processor of the computer system runs based on the determined relationship information for a particular user and a particular interactive application running on the processor of the computer system. The processor may be adapted to run at the selected frequency.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are disclosed to perform preference learning on a set of documents includes receiving raw input features from the set of documents stored on a data storage device; generating polynomial combinations from the raw input features; generating one or more parameters; applying the parameters to one or more classifiers to generate outputs; determining a loss function and parameter gradients and updating parameters determining one or more sparse regularizing terms and updating the parameters; and expressing that one document is preferred over another in a search query and retrieving one or more documents responsive to the search query.
Abstract:
According to embodiments of the present invention, there are provided a sub-pixel structure of a thin film transistor liquid crystal display and a liquid crystal display. The sub-pixel structure comprises: a gate line, a data line, a thin film transistor, a sub-pixel electrode, and a common electrode, which are formed on an array substrate, wherein a liquid crystal electric field in a first domain and a liquid crystal electric field in a second domain, which are located on both sides of the gate line, respectively, are created between the sub-pixel electrode and the common electrode, and the angle between the direction of the liquid crystal electric field in the first domain and the direction of the liquid crystal electric field in the second domain is larger than 0° and smaller than 180°.
Abstract:
A method is provided for generation of a circuit design. A plurality of components, including at least a processor and a peripheral device, is instantiated in a circuit design. One or more parameterizable data bus interface blocks are automatically selected based on the master-slave relationships, requirements, and capabilities of the components. The one or more parameterizable data bus interface blocks are instantiated in the circuit design. In response to user input, values are assigned to one or more parameters of the processor. The plurality of components and data bus interface blocks are automatically parameterized by determining appropriate parameter values according to the parameters of the processor and capabilities and requirements of the components and data bus interface blocks.
Abstract:
The present invention provides method and system for sharing video among mobile terminals. The method comprises: a calling terminal uploads a video file to a media server; a called terminal establishes a video link with the media server through a mobile network; the media server sends a video stream to the called terminal through the video link; the called terminal receives the video stream from the media server and plays the video file. The method and system provided by the present invention enable simultaneous sharing of the same video among multiple called terminals and enable a called terminal to watch the same shared video multiple times, therefore not only time and labour are saved, but also user experience is enhanced. By playing shared video through a mobile network, stream media is played directly and more smoothly, and problems of video buffering and video stagnating in video sharing are solved.
