Abstract:
A power transmission system, which transmits a driving force from a rotary actuator to a third joint of a leg link, applies a driving torque to the third joint from an output shaft of the rotary actuator via a driving crank arm, a connecting rod, and a driven crank arm. A translational force (rod transmitting force) generated at the connecting rod in the longitudinal direction thereof is measured on the basis of an output of a force sensor fixed to the connecting rod. With the rod transmitting force or a driving torque applied to the third joint by the rod transmitting force as a controlled variable, the driving force of the rotary actuator is feedback-controlled according to the measured value of the rod transmitting force and a desired value of the controlled variable so that the controlled variable coincides with the desired value.
Abstract:
A device for stimulating the meibomian glands of the eyelid comprising: a handle; a head that is non-removable and integral to the handle, the head comprising an eyepiece that oscillates to provide a massaging action to an eyelid and that comprises a front end that is concave in shape to fit over an eyelid; a heater located inside of the eyepiece; a temperature sensor located inside of the eyepiece, wherein the temperature sensor causes the eyepiece to heat to a predetermined temperature and then stop heating; and a charging base that supplies power to a motor that causes the eyepiece to oscillate, wherein the motor comprises a motor shaft. A method of applying heat and massaging action to the eyelid at the same time.
Abstract:
Provided is a walking assist device including a seat member, a leg link having a joint portion, and a driving source for the joint portion. The walking assist device allows a user to rest by sitting on the seat member. Accordingly, the walking assist device further includes a lock mechanism disposed in the joint portion and an operation unit for the lock mechanism. When the operation unit is switched on, the driving source is controlled to increase an up-pushing force on the seat member. A variation rate on the up-pushing force is increased with time to a given value where the lock mechanism is initiated.
Abstract:
A walking assist device is equipped with a load transmit portion, a foot attachment portion fitted to a foot of a user, and a leg link provided between the load transmit portion and the foot attachment portion. The foot attachment portion is equipped with a connecting member connected to the lower end of the leg link at a position forward of an ankle of the user while having at least a degree of rotational freedom around an axis line in a horizontal direction seen from front, and the connecting member is prevented from wobbling back and forth from the change in the direction of the load transmitted from the leg link. The foot attachment portion is equipped with the footplate member having a rigid plate capable of being stepped on by the foot of the user at outside an acting range in a sagittal plane of the load transmitted from the leg link to the connecting member. The connecting member is coupled to the footplate member so as to limit the rotation with respect to the footplate member round the axis line in the horizontal direction as seen from front.
Abstract:
An ankle joint structure of a walking assistance device is capable of protecting a user from feeling uncomfortable by properly following the foot motions of the user. An ankle joint has a turn shaft member enabling a ground contact assembly to turn relative to a leg link, a lateral rotation shaft member enabling the ground contact assembly to laterally rotate relative to the leg link, and a longitudinal rotation shaft member enabling the ground contact assembly to longitudinally rotate relative to the leg link. The turn shaft member is connected to the leg link, the longitudinal rotation shaft member is connected to the ground contact assembly, and the lateral rotation shaft member is disposed between the turn shaft member and the longitudinal rotation shaft member.
Abstract:
A sex toy that uses an enclosed, internal, mechanism of reciprocating weights to induce a back and forth, or rocking, motion on the device. The back and forth motion may be used alone, or in concert with other features common to sex toys, such as; vibration, compression and suction. The embodiment for men is roughly the shape of a donut (or torus) and sized large—to fit the majority of subjects. The embodiment for men also incorporates geometry allowing a variety of different liners to be inserted. These liners may be made from a number of different materials and provide a variety of sensations and fits. The women's version is cylindrical with roughly spherical ends. The user of the device is prevented from touching, interfering with, or damaging the moving parts—as they are enclosed inside the device. The speed of reciprocation can be adjusted as desired.
Abstract:
A leg water-spouting device of the present invention comprises a foot-front water spouting section for spouting water toward the foot-front side of a user and a water-spouting section direction moving mechanism for reciprocating the destination of water spouting of the foot-front water spouting section along the longitudinal direction of the foot and more preferably, it has a plurality of spouts arranged side by side in the foot instep width direction in use for each of the right and left feet or the pressure of water spouting received by the water arriving point is changed according to the position of movement of the moving water arriving point or the water spouting amount is changed according to the position of movement of the moving water arriving point. According to the above construction, such a leg water-spouting device can be provided that the sensory receptors existing on the skin are effectively stimulated and greater comfort can be obtained.
Abstract:

The system includes a transaction server, a website server, website administration apparatus and service performance apparatus with the transaction server facilitating electronic communication between the customer, the website administration apparatus, the customer's bank and the website operator's bank.
Abstract:
An exercise device (10) for working and stimulating the legs of disabled children is disclosed. The exercise device (10) includes a portable housing (12), a crankshaft (14) rotatably mounted in the housing (12), and a power source (16) coupled to the crankshaft (14). The power source (16) and the crankshaft (14) cooperate to provide the exercise device (10) an active operating mode, wherein rotation of the crankshaft (14) is resisted, and a passive operating mode, wherein rotation of the crankshaft (14) is assisted.
Abstract:
A massaging apparatus with a massaging mechanism comprises at least one pressing member for pressing against a specific location of a body portion, and an unit for moving the pressing member transversely across the specific location while the pressing member is pressed against the specific location. The massaging apparatus may further include a support body for pressing the body portion. At least one massaging opening is formed in the support body for alignment with the specific location of a body portion placed on the support body. The massaging mechanism is provided inside the support body so that an upper end of the pressing member is projecting outward through the massaging opening. When the body portion is placed on the support body, the specific location of the body portion is pressed and massaged by the pressing member while the pressing member is transversely moved.
