Abstract:
An oral hygiene implement attachable to a handle of an oral hygiene device is provided. The implement includes a housing; a functional element movably mounted at the housing such that it can be driven into a motion; a motion transmitter element coupled with the functional element; and an adhesive layer provided at the motion transmitter element for adhesively coupling the motion transmitter element with a drive shaft of the handle when being attached.
Abstract:
A removable cover or sleeve for an assisted walking device includes a body and an engagement feature configured to retain the sleeve on the assisted walking device. The body includes a tubular side panel defining an open end, and a closed bottom end with an outer surface. The body defines a hollow interior volume configured to receive a bottom end of the assisted walking device.
Abstract:
A massage device is provided with a pouch containing a liquid medium and a massage prong for imparting massage pressure on the person's body during a massage. The pouch is configured for application to the body such that it covers an area on the body substantially larger than the massage prong. The massage prong operates and applies a force to the body through the wall of the pouch. The massage prong is permitted to move within at least a portion of the area without substantial movement of the pouch relative to the body. A lubricating layer sealed present massager can provide a relaxing and therapeutic heated or cooled massage over a large area of the body while reducing pinching and friction between the skin and the massage prong.
Abstract:
A sexual aid device formed of a substantially U-shaped, member having a proximal end adapted for engagement within the vagina of a user distal end positioned to oppose the proximal end in a biased engagement with intra vaginal and external sexually sensitive surfaces of the user's body. A skeletal member running axially within said U-shaped member may be employed to vary the force of the biased engagement and reshape the U-shaped member. A projecting elongated member adjacent to the distal end of the U-shaped member is engageable by the user or body contact with a second user to impart force to the U-shaped member for sexual stimulation.
Abstract:
This invention relates to devices targeted to resolving various conditions of a female patient in need thereof, the conditions being female sexual dysfunction and urinary incontinence. The present disclosure provides for a device which incorporates a variety of elements in an effort to treat certain conditions of a female individual in need thereof. Optionally, the device of the present invention may be used as prophylactic measure to prevent a condition selected from the group consisting of female sexual dysfunction and urinary incontinence.
Abstract:
The invention provides a cordless chiropractic adjustment device including a thrust element (80) capable of impacting a body contact member (10), a resilient spring (314) arranged to bias the thrust element towards the body contact member, and a motor (120). The motor is arranged to move the thrust element between a variable primed configuration in which the thrust element is held out of contact with the body contact member, and a fired configuration in which the thrust element is propelled by the resilient spring into contact with the body contact member through a range of different impact forces. The motor is provided with direct current by one or more batteries (150), which may be rechargeable.
Abstract:
A massage device for self-massage by a user. The device including: a body defined by an elongate element adapted to form a closed loop; and a plurality of massage elements located spaced apart along the elongate element such that each one of the plurality of massage elements can be substantially used in isolation; each of the plurality of massage elements having a massage portion being inwardly directed with respect to the closed loop and an outwardly directed abutment portion with respect to the closed loop; each massage element being coupled about the midsection to the elongate element; and each one of the plurality of massage elements having a respectively different configuration. An embodiment device including at least two massage elements, each including a respective massage portion having a different effective massage size.
Abstract:
In an upper limb training apparatus, an exterior cover covers first and second gimbal mechanisms. The exterior cover includes a fixed cover fixed to a fixed frame, and first and second moving covers. The first moving cover is fixed to and moves together with an operation rod. The second moving cover is fixed to and moves together with a movable frame. The second moving cover is arranged between the first moving cover and the fixed cover so as to be able to move relative to both of the first moving cover and the fixed cover.
Abstract:
In an upper limb training apparatus, a movable frame is supported by a fixed frame placed on a floor surface such that the movable frame can tilt in all directions. An operation rod including an operation rod main body and an attachment fixed portion is attached to the movable frame and can extend and contract. The attachment fixed portion, to which an attachment is fixed, is attached to the tip of the operation rod main body and includes an elastic member that absorbs forces in any directions other than the axial direction relative to the operation rod main body. The axial displacement detecting section can thereby grasp just the axial force applied to the operation rod by detecting the displacement of attachment fixed portion in the axial direction.
Abstract:
A handle and trigger activating a battery powered motor moving a mechanical plunger in a linear motion range. The plunger is placed against a patient's muscle, fascia, tendon, or ligament and is subjected to the repetitive mechanical plunger motion resulting in a deep massage. Plungers of differing shapes, sizes, contours, textures, and hardness may be used and are readily changed. The speed of the device is controlled by the trigger so that if more speed is desired, a user simply depresses the trigger further. Operational modes include: the device set to 30 seconds on the highest power setting, 30 seconds on a middle power setting; the device set to 20 seconds on the highest power setting, 20 seconds on a middle power setting; and the device set to 10 seconds on the highest power setting, 10 seconds on a middle power setting.
