Abstract:
Provided is a capsule for storing and dispensing dental material. The capsule comprises a cartridge for the dental material, and a nozzle. The nozzle being pivotable with respect to the cartridge between a first position in which the capsule is closed for storage and a second position in which the capsule is opened for dispensing the dental material. One of the nozzle and the cartridge comprises a bearing member and the other one of the nozzle and the cartridge comprises a bearing shell, wherein the bearing member and bearing shell form a pivot. Upon pivoting the nozzle from the first to the second position, the seal between the bearing member and the bearing shell is improved.
Abstract:
A device for dispensing a dental material comprises a container for containing the material and an outlet which is closed by a closure. A breakable seal is arranged between the closure and the container. The device further is operable between a storage position in which the outlet is closed and an operational position in which the outlet is open. An initial operation toward the operational position causes the seal to break, whereby the closure is captured in the device. The device may provide a relatively long shelf life for the material, and may facilitate preparation of the material for use.
Abstract:
A delivery system for delivery of powders to targeted areas. Various embodiments include a powder delivery train that mates with standard-sized powder containers. Another embodiment includes a bellows container that contains the powder and propels the powder through the powder delivery train. Another embodiment integrates the powder delivery train with the sifter cap and enables the powder delivery tube to be stowed within the powder container.
Abstract:
A dispensing head for dispensers of fluid products includes a connecting body (3) presenting a lower portion (8) operatively engaged to a dispensing pump of a respective dispenser (2) of the fluid product; a closing lid (4) associated to an upper portion (9) of the connecting body (3) opposite to the lower portion (8); and a nozzle (5) for dispensing the liquid product, associated to the closing lid (4); the nozzle (5) is actuated by respective actuating elements (28) between a position of use in which it projects from the overall size of the closing lid (4), and a position of non use in which it is retracted inside the overall size of the closing lid (4).
Abstract:
A portable saline nasal spray is a device designed to remove allergens or other harmful substances from the human nasal cavity in effective and convenient way. The portable saline nasal spray includes a spray pump that is operated by a finger, a spray nozzle that is ergonomically designed to effectively spray into the nasal cavity, and a disposable saline pouch that can be purchased separately. Not like other existing method, instead of forcing the saline solution to flow though the nasal cavity, this invention sprays the saline solution effectively over the whole surface of the nasal cavity. Because saline solution is sprayed, it requires only small amount of solution for daily use. This invention utilizes factory prepared sterile saline solution contained in disposable pouch that makes the nasal cleaning procedure much more simple and convenient. Just one small pouch of saline solution can be used for a whole week of twice a day nasal cleaning. Furthermore, because it is designed to be a leak-free portable device, it would look nice to keep anywhere, and the user can even carry it in his/her most favorite bag and use it anytime at anywhere they want.
Abstract:
A dispensing cap and a container having a dispensing cap are provided in which the dispensing cap includes first and second parts designed for mounting onto a container. The dispensing cap includes: (a) a first part fitted with an interior output orifice suitable for allowing selective communication with the container interior; and (b) a second part through a conduit extends and which opens at a dispensing outlet. The second part is arranged so that it can rotate on axis Y, which is aligned obliquely to an axis X of the container, in such a way as to move from a closed position at which the second part will seal off the interior output orifice to a dispensing position in which the interior output orifice will communicate with the dispensing outlet by way of the conduit. In addition, the dispensing cap is configured in such a way as to activate a dispensing member provided on the container.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a liquid delivery pump (1) connected to the neck of a container comprising: a cylindrical hollow body (2) defining a suction and compression chamber (5) communicating with outside through a liquid distribution channel (7); a manually actuated piston (8) slidingly coupled to said hollow body (2); elastic means (12) cooperating with a push button (83) connected to said piston; first valve means (13) adapted to connect said suction chamber (5) with a liquid suction tube (6); second valve means (14) adapted to connect said suction and compression chamber (5) with said distribution channel (7) during the delivery phase. Said distribution channel (7) has a first stationary part (71) made in the plug (23) and a second swinging part (30) consisting of a tube (13) having at the end facing the first stationary part (71) a substantially spherical body (32) whose outer surface closes the first stationary part when said second part is substantially perpendicular to the first part.
Abstract:
A spray head for delivering a hair care composition onto and/or into the hair comprising an inlet in fluid communication with an outlet, the inlet of the spray head being adapted for connection with an outlet of a container including a hair care composition, the outlet of the spray head including at least one hollow protrusion defining a fluid channel extending from the spray head, the hollow protrusion including an opening for delivering the atomized hair care composition onto the hair.
Abstract:
A dispenser is specially adapted for being carried in handbags or pockets. A nozzle is pivotable between a projecting and a retracted position. When in the retracted position it lies within the envelope of a casing and a pump head on which it is mounted is blocked from any movement by abutment against a part on the casing, this part also acting to block the outlet end of a passage in the nozzle to prevent leakage of any material left in that passage after the last use of the dispenser. At the same time the inlet to the passage is closed off by a wall of the passage. When the nozzle is in its projecting position, the inlet and the passage are put in communication and the head may be depressed to express a charge through the nozzle.
