Abstract: A method for fabricating an intravascular imaging assembly is provided. In one embodiment, the method includes forming a stacked structure (415) having a plurality of sacrificial material layers disposed between a plurality of ultrasound material layers in an alternating pattern; dicing the stacked structure (420) to form a plurality of elongated strips, each comprising an array of ultrasound elements defined by the plurality of ultrasound material layers and spacers defined by the plurality of sacrificial material layers; coupling a first elongated strip (430) of the plurality of elongated strips to a flexible circuit substrate; and removing the spacers (435) of the first elongated strip from the flexible circuit substrate.

Abstract: A vibrational rehabilitation device includes two drive assemblies, an eccentric assembly, and two half housings. Each drive assembly includes a driving wheel assembly and a driven wheel assembly. The driving wheel assembly has a driving wheel and a driving shaft. The driving shaft is mounted to a center of the driving wheel. A grip member is provided at one side of the driving shaft opposite the driving wheel. The driven wheel assembly includes a first driven wheel and a second driven wheel. The first driven wheel is connected with the driving wheel and driven by the driving wheel. The second driven wheel is coaxially disposed with the first driven wheel. The eccentric assembly includes two transmission wheels at two sides thereof and an eccentric block sandwiched between the two transmission wheels. The drive assemblies and the eccentric assembly are mounted in the housings.

Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a trim storage and an encoder. The trim storage stores trim values. The encoder determines a magnitude of a supply voltage, determines a magnitude of a handle voltage, determines a source-to-handle voltage of a first transistor, and determines a source-to-handle voltage of a second transistor. Further, the encoder determines a target number of selectable first transistor units comprising the first transistor to select for the first transistor. Based on a trim value from the trim storage, the source-to-handle voltage of the first transistor and the source-to-handle voltage of the second transistor, the encoder determines a target number of selectable second transistor units comprising the second transistor to select for the second transistor. The encoder asserts control signals to select the target number of selectable first transistor units and the target number of selectable second transistor units.

Abstract: An imaging system includes: a transceiver cell for generating a pressure wave and converting an external pressure wave into an electrical signal; and a control unit for controlling an operation of the transceiver cell. The transceiver cell includes: a substrate; at least one membrane suspending from the substrate; and a plurality of transducer elements mounted on the at least one membrane. Each of the plurality of transducer elements has a bottom electrode, a piezoelectric layer on bottom electrode, and at least one top electrode on the piezoelectric layer. Each of the plurality of transducer element generates a bending moment in response to applying an electrical potential across the bottom electrode and the at least one top electrode and develops an electrical charge in response to a bending moment due to the external pressure wave.

Abstract: A transmission circuit for ultrasonic diagnosis includes a delay processing circuit that delays a transmission signal pattern and an operational circuit that calculates a delay time. A transmission timing for supplying the transmission signal pattern to a plurality of piezo electric elements corresponding to a plurality of channels is approximated by a multi-dimensional polynomial with locations of the plurality of piezo electric elements being variables so that the transmission timing becomes linear or arc-like. Coefficients in the multi-dimensional polynomial are supplied to the transmission circuit for ultrasonic diagnosis. The delay time in the delay processing circuit is determined by a first coefficient. The operational circuit calculates the delay time based on a second coefficient. The transmission signal pattern is supplied to the plurality of piezo electric elements at a transmission timing including the delay time according to the first coefficient and the delay time according to the second coefficient.

Abstract: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus according to a present embodiment includes driving pulse generating circuitries and a transmission control circuitry.
