Abstract: The present invention provides a curved liquid crystal display panel. In the curved liquid crystal display panel of the present invention, a TFT substrate is provided thereon with a black matrix corresponding to a trunk portion of a pixel electrode such that portions of the sub-pixels within two opposite side zones of the curved liquid crystal display panel that generate dark patterns and portions of the sub-pixels within a central zone of the curved liquid crystal display panel having the same width as that of the dark patterns are shielded, whereby through sacrifice of a portion of aperture ratio, the brightness of the curved liquid crystal display panel is made homogenized through all areas thereof thereby preventing brightness difference between the central zone and two opposite side zones of the curved liquid crystal display panel.

Abstract: An array substrate and a display panel are provided. The array substrate includes a non-display region and a display region including a plurality of pixel unit rows arranged in a first direction and extended in a second direction. Each pixel unit row includes at least one first-pixel unit having a first width in the first direction and a second width in the second direction. At least one pixel unit row includes at least one second-pixel unit having a third width in the first direction and a fourth width in the second direction, and the at least one second-pixel unit is disposed at one end or both ends of the pixel unit row. The second width is larger than or equal to the fourth width.

Abstract: An objective is to provide a technique for reducing the size of the picture-frame region of the active-matrix substrate and improve the freedom of design, such as the freedom in designing the active-matrix substrate. An active-matrix substrate includes a group of gate lines and a group of source lines crossing the gate lines. At least some of the gate lines have a length that is smaller than the maximum value of the width of the active-matrix substrate as measured in the direction in which the gate lines extend. The active-matrix substrate further includes pixel electrodes connected with the gate lines and source lines, and gate line driving units (11) provided in the display region for switching the gate lines to the selected or non-selected state in response to a supplied control signal. First terminals (12s) for providing data signals from the source driver and second terminals (12g) for providing control signals from the display control circuit are provided in the portion of the picture-frame region that is adjacent a side of the display region.

Abstract: The present invention provides a curved liquid crystal display module and a liquid crystal display device. The curved liquid crystal display module includes a color filter substrate, an array substrate, and multiple isolation-cushion parts disposed between the color filter substrate and the array substrate. Wherein, the multiple isolation-cushion parts are densely distributed near a center position of the color filter substrate and the array substrate, and the multiple isolation-cushion parts are gradually sparsely distributed toward two edges. Through disposing the isolation-cushion parts to be densely distributed and strip-shaped at the center position, and to be sparsely distributed and dotted toward two edges, the device of the present invention is well suitable for different sustained force at different assembly locations of curved screen such that the curved liquid crystal display module can have a better display effect and an uniform thickness.

Abstract: A display device with a variant-shape display region other than the rectangular display region is configured to form a scanning line drive circuit along the variant-shape display region. The scanning line drive circuit includes bus wiring group with clock wiring for supplying clocks with three or more phases and the power supply wiring for supplying power, and the unit circuits for configuring the shift register including five or more transistors. The bus wiring and the unit circuits are formed on the different regions so as not to cross with one another.

The rotation restricting portion 24 includes an optical member recess 27 that is a portion of the periphery of the optical member 16 recessed along a circumferential direction and a contact portion 28 that is in contact with the optical member recess 27.
