Abstract: The present invention provides a curved display device manufacturing method comprising the steps of: coupling a flat display, a transparent adhesive layer, and flat cover glass, thereby manufacturing a flat display assembly; applying an adhesive to the edge of the flat display assembly; seating the flat display assembly on a curved jig; adsorbing the flat display assembly onto the surface of the curved jig by using vacuum holes formed in the curved jig such that the flat display assembly is bent; and coupling a backlight unit to the adhesive-applied area. The step of coupling a backlight unit to the adhesive-applied area comprises a step of curing the adhesive in a state in which the backlight unit is forced against the display assembly such that the display assembly remains bent.

Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel having a first side and a second side facing the first side in a first direction, the display panel including a recessed portion having a recessed shape from the first side of the display panel toward the second side in the first direction, the recessed portion including a side extended from the first side of the display panel; a pad portion disposed on a front surface of the display panel, the pad portion being adjacent to at least one side of the recessed portion; and a flexible printed circuit (FPC) connected to the pad portion, the FPC being bent to a rear surface of the display panel around the at least one side of the recessed portion, the rear surface opposing the front surface.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display device includes a first area, second area, liquid crystal layer, and a plurality of pixels. Each subpixel includes an opening area including a first opening area and a second opening area. The pixels include a first pixel positioned in the first area and a second pixel positioned over a boundary of the first area and the second area. The opening area of the second pixel is smaller than the opening area of the first pixel when opening areas of subpixels of same color are compared. An each imaginary line showing the boundary of the first opening area and the second opening area is a same straight line.

Abstract: Provided is a liquid crystal lens including: a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; and a liquid crystal layer held between the first substrate and the second substrate and containing liquid crystal molecules. Abstract: A fingerprint sensing device includes a first substrate, a sensing element layer, a second substrate, a micro-structure layer, and a spacer layer. The sensing element layer is located on the first substrate and includes multiple sensing elements. The second substrate is located on the sensing element layer. The micro-structure layer is located between the second substrate and the sensing element layer, and includes multiple micro-lens structures and multiple dummy structures. Orthogonal projections of the micro-lens structures on the first substrate overlap orthogonal projections of the sensing elements on the first substrate. The spacer layer is located between the second substrate and the sensing element layer, and includes multiple main spacers. Each of the main spacers covers at least one of the dummy structures.
