Abstract: A moving system comprising a master controller for monitoring and controlling a master operation comprising one or more individual movers such that each mover arrives at predefined end point at selected times. Each mover includes a mover control system that interacts with the master controller and has a predefined virtual vector path with one or more defined end points. The predefined virtual vector path comprises a plurality of discrete points, wherein each discrete point has a vector axis for use by the master controller and the mover control system to direct the mover to move such that it arrives at each defined end point at a selected time. In operation, the master controller functions to modify the predefined virtual path and sends commands to the mover control system in response to changes in the master operations.

Abstract: Disclosed are a route planning method and device, equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises: selecting at least two mobile devices from a plurality of mobile devices; determining routes of the at least two mobile devices and a plurality of stopping positions on the routes to stop; and cross-allocating the plurality of stopping positions to the at least two mobile devices according to a passing sequence of the plurality of stopping positions on the routes. By adopting this method, when any one of the at least two mobile devices moves to its own stopping position to wait, other mobile devices can move to their own stopping positions in advance to wait. In this way, the time consumed for each mobile device to move to the corresponding stopping position can be reduced.

Abstract: A storage system includes a storage grid structure and multiple container handling vehicles. The storage grid structure includes vertical column profiles defining multiple storage columns, in which storage containers can be stored one on top of another in vertical stacks, and at least one transfer column, the column profiles are interconnected at their upper ends by top rails forming a horizontal top rail grid upon which the container handling vehicles may move in two perpendicular directions, the container handling vehicles are able to retrieve storage containers from, and store storage containers in, the storage columns, and transport the storage containers on the storage grid structure. The storage grid structure includes at least one horizontal transfer section. The storage system includes multiple container transfer vehicles and transfer rails forming a transfer rail grid upon which the container transfer vehicles may move in at least one horizontal direction.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for automating the movement of goods within a warehouse. A rotating camera is attached to an autonomous mobile robot, which can detect markers placed on the warehouse floor. Accurate positioning and navigation is enabled using the rotating camera and floor markers. The system enables increased productivity of warehouse order picking operations. A central server communicates with the autonomous mobile robot and warehouse personnel carrying handheld devices. The central server instructs the autonomous mobile robot to stop at specific locations within a warehouse and informs warehouse personnel to load or unload specific items onto the autonomous mobile robot.

Abstract: An automated warehouse system can include automated pallet movers, a physical space in which the automated pallet movers operate, and a control system to provide commands to each of the automated pallet movers for operating in the physical space. The commands can include a pallet transportation command including a pallet identifier of a pallet to be transported by the automated pallet mover in the physical space, and a destination location to which the pallet is to be transported by the automated pallet mover. Abstract: A process for recommending a fleet of industrial vehicles comprises receiving, via a user interface, input variables concerning a warehouse configuration and operational variables concerning a fleet configuration. Instances of a warehouse model, an operations model, vehicle specifications, and workflow parameters are created where the workflow parameters are established workflow models derived from the warehouse configuration and vehicle specifications. A workflow model is simulated using kinematic models of the vehicles by defining a workflow model defining tasks of the industrial vehicles within an environment associated with performance of an operation, wherein the workflow model is based on the workflow parameters and associating the tasks with the kinematic models, which incorporate cutback curves. The kinematic model is applied to the workflow model based upon travel paths of the workflow model to determine results. A recommendation for vehicles of a vehicle type based on the simulation results is recommended.
