Abstract: A connector includes a terminal fitting, an insulating housing having a terminal accommodation chamber in which the terminal fitting is accommodated, and attached to a casing of an installation target device, and an insulating heat dissipation member that takes heat from the terminal fitting and dissipates the heat are included, and the heat dissipation member includes a heat absorbing portion that comes into contact with the terminal fitting in the terminal accommodation chamber and takes heat from the terminal fitting, and a heat transfer portion that transfers the heat taken by the heat absorbing portion to a heat transfer target portion outside the terminal accommodation chamber.

Abstract: A charging assembly includes a charging plug and a charging cable for connecting a charging station to the battery of an electric vehicle. The charging plug includes a primary plug housing with a first throughout opening in which a first conductor end piece is arranged, which is attached to the end of a first conductor of the charging cable and includes opposite to the first conductor a first charging contact extending in an axial direction. The charging plug further includes a second throughout opening in which a second conductor end piece is arranged, which is attached to the end of a second conductor of the charging cable and includes opposite to the second conductor a second charging contact laterally spaced apart from and extending parallel to the first charging contact in the axial direction. The first and the second conductor end piece each include at least one cooling surface, exposed to a circulating cooling agent, fluidly interconnected to a respective cladding tube surrounding the first or second conductor for conducting the circulating cooling agent along the first or second conductor.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes a housing having a cavity extending between a mating end and a cable end. The housing has contact channels extends along channel axes. The electrical connector includes a contact assembly received in the cavity having contacts received in the corresponding contact channels. Each contact has a retention feature. The electrical connector includes a TPA device received in the cavity that extends along an axis parallel to the channel axes. The TPA device includes locking lobes each configured to interface with the retention feature of the corresponding contact to hold the contact in the housing. The TPA device is rotatable about the axis relative to the housing between a clearance position and a blocking position. Each locking lobe interfaces with the corresponding retention feature in the blocking position.

Abstract: A brake controller is provided as an inline plug between the towing vehicle and the towed vehicle or trailer. The electronics including an accelerometer and wireless communication radio are potted within a brake controller housing package. There is no conventional display or input controls on the exterior of the brake controller package. Input settings, and possibly output messages, are communicated through a smartphone or similar software or hardware application. The brake controller can identify a hazard lighting condition and avoid braking the towed vehicle during the hazard lighting condition, and can also distinguish when braking during signaling a turn, using the turn signals of the towing vehicle.
