Abstract:
Improvements in a fixture housing for recessed speaker or lighting that can be installed from one side of a wall or ceiling is disclosed. Once the ideal location is identified an installer uses a hole saw to cut an opening in the desired location. The fixture housing can then be pushed into the opening. The fixture housing for recessed speaker includes a plurality of engaging tabs that allows an installer to simply lift the speaker into the fixture housing for recessed speaker, and then turn the speaker within the fixture to lock the speaker within the fixture housing for recessed speaker. The securing tabs fold inward to clear the hole opening and then fold back out where the securing ears are brought down onto the back side of the opening to clamp the fixture to the wall or ceiling and secure the fixture.
Abstract:
A headset is provided. The headset includes: a hook hung on a user's neck; a pair of sound output units connected to both end parts of the hook; and a clipping module provided to at least one sound output unit and coupled to a cap worn by the user to allow the at least one sound output unit to be detachable.
Abstract:
A rotary device may include: a binding unit detachably coupled to a part of an external object and including a side surface defining a geometric plane and having a length through which a longitudinal axis extends; a stationary unit positioned adjacent to the side surface of the binding unit and formed integrally with or coupled to the binding unit; and a rotary unit coupled to the stationary unit, the rotary unit including a first end and a second end, the first and second ends being opposite one another, the first end being rotatably coupled to the stationary unit, wherein the rotary unit is rotatable between a first position where the rotary unit forms a first angle with respect to the longitudinal axis and a second position where the rotary unit forms a second angle with the respect to the longitudinal axis, wherein at the first position, the second end of the rotary unit is a first distance from the geometric plane, and wherein at the second position, the second end of the rotary unit is a second distance from the geometric plane, the second distance being different from the first distance.
Abstract:
A display device having a speaker module includes a display, an ultrasonic speaker and an adjustment module. The speaker module includes at least one first speaker module and at least one second speaker module. The first speaker module is disposed at the display and adapted to emit a first ultrasonic wave. The second speaker module is disposed at the display and adapted to emit a second ultrasonic wave. The first ultrasonic wave and the second ultrasonic wave are intersected to form an audible region. The adjustment module is adapted to control the first speaker module and the second speaker module to rotate relative to the display, so as to drive the audible region to target a user.
Abstract:
A multi-sided microphone boot having a front side, a back side, a first lateral side, a second lateral side, and a bottom side. The front side can have a sound tube extending from at least an internal microphone receiving compartment to an external surface of the front side. The back side can form a microphone opening extending from the internal microphone receiving compartment to at least an external surface of the back side. The first lateral side can include at least one protrusion extending from an external surface of the first lateral side. The second lateral side can include at least one protrusion extending from an external surface of the second lateral side. The protrusions can assist in reducing the contact area and/or the number of contacts between the microphone boot and a microphone receiving compartment within a telecommunication device.
Abstract:
A method and structure are provided for suspending a slotted plate from a structural element such as an I-beam or a column. The slotted plate includes generally rectangular, preferably racetrack oval, slot holes on the two long sides of the plate surrounding an array of fields of diverse inner generally rectangular, preferably racetrack oval, slot holes in the middle of the plate arranged in wide and narrow columns and rows. The slot holes are arranged for fastening objects to the plate without drilling holes by using a method of sliding and/or rotating fixtures to be attached to the slotted plat until fixture mounting sites are aligned with the field of diverse inner slot holes. The slotted plate can be secured to an I-beam with an obliquely-sloped, arched clamp.
Abstract:
A hands-free audio system for a vehicle and method of using the system is described. The method includes controlling the directionality of a vehicle microphone. The steps of the method may include: (a) receiving a sensor value from at least one of a vehicle seat position sensor, a vehicle seat orientation sensor, or a vehicle mirror orientation sensor; (b) based on the received sensor value(s) of step (a), determining an origin of a vehicle user's speech; and (c) controlling the microphone sensitivity directionality based on the determined origin.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a piece of furniture, particularly an adjustable bed, having a speaker system. The bed includes a base having an outer peripheral edge. At least one speaker is mounted to the base of the piece of furniture, typically to the legs. The at least one speaker is mounted to face outwards from a center portion of the bed. The at least one speaker is mounted inboard of the outer peripheral edge of the base of the bed so as to conceal the speakers from a top view. The speaker system may also be used with various other pieces of furniture such as couches, chairs, tables, etc. A subwoofer may also be mounted to the base of the bed.
Abstract:
An audiovisual apparatus includes: a display section configured to display a picture; and one or a plurality of main speakers and a plurality of sub-speakers each having a sound output surface generating sound corresponding to the picture. The sound output surfaces of one or more of the plurality of sub-speakers are arranged to be inclined toward outside of the display section as compared with the sound output surfaces of the main speakers.
Abstract:
A loudspeaker includes a circuit board, a base mounted on a rear side of the circuit board, a positioning apparatus slidably installed between the base and the circuit board, a sound-reflecting member positioned at a front side of the circuit board, a connecting member connected between the base and the sound-reflecting member, a sound generator, and a controller. The sound-reflecting member includes a sound-reflecting plate and a number of magnetic pieces around the sound-reflecting plate. Many first electromagnets are mounted on the front side of the circuit board, aligning with the magnetic pieces. The position apparatus includes a positioning bracket. The connecting member includes a rotating portion rotatably connected to the base. A second electromagnet is mounted to the circuit board, to move the positioning bracket. The controller controls one or more of the first electromagnets to attract the corresponding magnetic pieces, to allow the sound-reflecting member to swing.
