Abstract:
A portable Bluetooth camping light includes a lamp body, a battery unit, a speaker, and a remote controller. The remote controller is allowed to remotely control the intensity of the light beam of the first illumination source. The lamp body is used to receive the sound information of a handheld device for broadcasting through the speaker. The battery unit is allowed to charge an external electronic device.
Abstract:
A modular speaker system, comprising an exoskeleton, configured to mechanically support and quick attach and release at least one functional panel and an electrical interface provided within the exoskeleton, configured to mate with a corresponding electrical connector of the functional panel. An optional endoskeleton is provided to support internal components. The system preferably provides a digital electronic controller, and the electrical interface is a digital data and power bus, with multiplexed communications between the elements of the system. The elements of the system preferably include at least one speaker, and other audiovisual and communications components. Multiple modules may be interconnected, communicating through the electrical interface. A base module may be provided to provide power and typical control, user and audiovisual interface connectors.
Abstract:
A deployable speaker includes a driver and an acoustic enclosure made up of a multiplicity of panels. The driver is secured to one of the panels. The acoustic enclosure is deployable from a closed state to a deployed state. When one of the panels is moved by a user from the closed to the deployed state, all but one of the remaining panels are simultaneously moved from the closed to the deployed state.
Abstract:
A portable electronic device includes an electronic amplifier and a battery power supply in a lower hollow prismatic-shaped housing which has a rectangular base wall panel and an upper oblique wall panel which is disposed obliquely downwards between a rear panel and a front panel of the housing, and an upper housing containing a loudspeaker which has a hollow prismatic shape including a lower oblique wall panel which is disposed downwardly between the rear wall panel of the housing and a front wall panel of the housing. Confronting outer faces of the oblique housing wall panels are joined by a central hollow rotatable joint which receives therethrough electrical leads that connect the loudspeaker to the amplifier. In a first, 0-degree orientation of the amplifier housing relative to the speaker housing, the composite shape of the device approximates that of a cube. The rotatable joint facilitates rotational motion of the speaker housing relative to the amplifier housing to a first, 90-degree orientation and a second, 180-degree orientation, to thus direct the sounds from the loudspeaker in different selected directions.
Abstract:
The invention provides, in some aspects, electronic devices with improved radiators (or “passive drivers”) comprising an elastomerically mounted mass in order to improve sound reproduction fidelity. The mass comprises a component of the device not normally used for such purpose—e.g., a battery—thereby, permitting size reductions while, at the same time, enhancing audio fidelity
Abstract:
Combination headphones having internal speakers and external speakers. A controller allows for audio to be emitted from the internal speakers, the external speaker, or both. The headphones have earpieces detachably connected at opposing ends of a headpiece in such a way that the earpieces may be collapsed toward the headpiece and stacked onto each other.
Abstract:
Described herein is an acoustic device including a speaker device adapted to wirelessly connect to, and relay audio signals from, an audio source. An external acoustic reflector is adapted to receive the speaker device inside or on the external acoustic reflector. The external acoustic reflector amplifies a sound generated by the speaker device.
Abstract:
Provided is a portable electronic device including a signal processing unit, a controller that supplies a control signal to the signal processing unit, and a power generation unit that generates an electrical signal as power and supplies the generated electrical signal to the signal processing unit.
Abstract:
A wireless speaker stand for a tablet computer is presented. The speaker stand comprises a wireless audio speaker within a base. A channel within the base has a channel floor, a channel front wall, and a channel rear wall. One or more spring-mounted bumpers retractably protrude into the channel. A mobile electronic device may be inserted into the channel. The spring-mounted bumper exerts variable force upon the mobile device as it enters the channel, securing the mobile electronic device within in the channel.
Abstract:
A speaker assembly comprises a portable device receiver and leg, allowing users to enjoy hands free viewing or listening experience. The sound system can be configured to provide an enhanced listening experience via at least one of a virtual surround system, a speaker driver, one or more speakers, adjustable control functions, and retained or increased acoustic power.
