Abstract:
The present invention provides a cognitive-kinesthetic device and method which enhances, facilitates and accelerates cognitive development and learning in school-age children by coupling the learning process with movement, referred to as “kinesthetic learning.” The device and method is contemplated for use in school-age children ranging in age from four to twelve years old. Regardless of the age of the children, the invention provides that playing the physically active cognitive-kinesthetic game will enhance, facilitate and accelerate cognitive development and learning in school-age children, such as reading, verbal fluency, math, science, spatial relationships and other fields of knowledge, while at the same time providing a fun and exciting experience. In addition, the coupling of movement with the learning process provides a calming effect to school-age children so that they are able to pay better attention during the learning process.

Abstract:
A wall panel assembly includes at least one panel made from a steel sheet having a plurality of rear extending lateral edge flanges forming an enclosure and including a front surface. A cleat disposed within the formed enclosure includes a cleat body having a slot that is engageable with a support structure that is fixedly attachable to a wall. The support structure includes a plurality of engagement members that are releasably engageable in the at least one slot of the cleat. The support structure can be formed from a series of linear interconnectable sections.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for manufacturing a magnetic drawing board having a plurality of areas, each of which is designated with a specific color, with clear border between adjacent areas of different color. The present invention makes use of magnetic force to ensure that magnetic particles of a specific color will be filled into cells designated for that specific color. As a result, the present invention is capable of manufacturing a magnetic drawing board with a clear division of areas of different colors. There is no longer any limitation on the size and shape of the areas of different colors in the present invention.
Abstract:
An armored whiteboard device is provided having a strike face with a dry erase markable surface that can be written on and wiped clean, and a protection layer of ballistic material attached to the strike face. The strike face and the ballistic protection layer can be used as a defensive shield to protect against oncoming ballistic projectiles. Handles on one side allow the device to be held in one position for writing upon the markable surface and in another position for protection against penetration by a projectile.
Abstract:
Solvent-based coatings having writable-erasable surfaces are provided. The coatings have many desirable attributes. For example, the coatings cure rapidly under ambient conditions, have low VOC emissions upon curing, and have reduced tendency to form ghost images, even after prolonged normal use.
Abstract:
In systems that enable collaboration, techniques are provided for communicating and displaying positional information with respect to these systems so as to enhance the collaborative experience. The systems may include interactive whiteboard (IWB) systems participating in a collaborative session. The position of an object (e.g., a user) at a first IWB system may be tracked and displayed at a second IWB system located remotely from the first IWB system.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an attachable mini whiteboard with a unique attachment loop that can attach the mini whiteboard to any items including but not limited to a doorknob, furniture, luggage, plumbing pipe and that can be bent to stand on a flat surface including but not limited to a desk to support the mini whiteboard in a right-up position.
Abstract:
An interactive whiteboard system that can be put on a desk or a floor surface is implemented. A reflection frame-equipped sheet in accordance with the present invention has a flexible sheet, and a retroreflective frame(s) that is/are fixed to given one side or given two opposite sides of the sheet.
