Abstract: Mobile training labs for training gas technicians are disclosed. The mobile training labs can include a towable trailer comprising a body having a plurality of walls at least partially defining a hollow interior, an axle having at least two wheels disposed thereon to support the body, and a tow hitch. The mobile training labs can also include at least one training bay connected to the towable trailer such that the at least one training bay is configured to be accessed from an exterior of the towable trailer. The at least one training bay can include a work bench and a mock service entrance that is representative of a commercial or residential gas service entrance.

Abstract: A system for capturing, organizing, and storing handwritten notes includes a plurality of boundary markers. The boundary markers are configured to be positioned on a writing surface. The system also includes a tangible non-transitory computer readable medium encoded with instructions which, when run on a camera-equipped computing device, causes the camera-equipped computing device to execute processes. The processes include capturing an image of the writing surface with the markers thereon. The processes also include detecting the boundary markers in the captured image. Additionally, the processes include identifying a virtual boundary in the captured image based on the positions of the boundary markers. The processes then unwarp a portion of the captured image within the virtual boundary to produce an unwarped image.

Abstract: An apparatus for a mobile floor standing structure with a wheeled base, attached to a dry-erase board is described. The dry erase board can be secured to the stand at a vertical orientation to give rise to a vertically standing writable dry-erase board. Alternatively, the dry-erase board being pivotably oriented form a vertical position to a horizontal position to yield into a writable dry erase board in a table configuration. The wheeled base adds ease in maneuverability and portability of the apparatus.

Abstract: Conventional whiteboards or chalkboards on which writing is effected using Dry-Erase or chalk markers are enabled for digital conversion of the writing into the digital domain. An indoor positioning subsystem determines the absolute position of a marker with a dry-erase or another conventional writing tip within a local coordinate system to track the location of the marker on the board. Ultra wide band (UWB) is an example technology that may be used for this purpose. An inertial sensor in the marker captures sensor data generated by handwriting by sensing the movement of the marker, essentially tracking the relative positioning and motion of the handwriting. The absolute position and relative positions are then processed to generate digital handwriting which may be refined using deep learning subsystem(s) for handwriting recognition and classification for the data captured by the inertial sensor to determine the most appropriate character or shape of the writing.

Abstract: According to an embodiment, an information processing device includes a memory having computer readable instructions stored thereon and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to execute the computer readable instructions to: set, in response to an instruction from a first terminal device, task information containing a task and a request for an answer to the task; present, in the first terminal device, a user interface meant for inputting the instruction; manage the task information; and receive the answer which is sent from a second terminal device and which is associated to the task included in the task information that is obtained by the second terminal device. For each of sets of identification information enabling identification of the second terminal device that sent the answer, the at least one processor further manages the received answer in a corresponding manner to the task information containing the task.

Abstract: Systems have a frame, and a substrate base sheet held by the frame. Each system has a media sheet and a substantially transparent erasable sheet held by the frame, with the media sheet being between the substrate sheet and the erasable sheet. Abstract: Laser printable, dry-erase substrates, along with their methods of formation and use, are provided. The laser printable, dry-erase substrate can include a base sheet defining a surface and a dry-erase coating on the surface of the base sheet. The dry-erase coating comprises a film-forming polymeric material (e.g., a polyacryl, a polymethacryl, a polyurethane-polyacryl mixture, a polyurethane-polymethacryl mixture, an urethane-acryl copolymer, or a mixture thereof) and a wetting agent (e.g., a nonionic surfactant that has a polyethylene oxide chain and an aromatic hydrocarbon lipophilic or hydrophobic group). The film-forming polymeric material melts and flows at a laser printing temperature so as to bond to toner ink.
