    Abstract: An optical stack for reflecting and transmitting light in a predetermined wavelength range includes stacked first and second optical films, the predetermined wavelength range defining a first wavelength range and a remaining wavelength range. For normally incident light and for each wavelength in a first wavelength range, the first optical film substantially reflects light having a first polarization state, and substantially transmits light having a second polarization state. For each of the first and second polarization states, for wavelengths in the first wavelength range, the second optical film has a maximum optical transmittance Tmax for light incident at a first incident angle, and an optical transmittance Tmax/2 for light incident at a second incident angle, where the second incident angle is greater than the first incident angle by less than about 50 degrees. For wavelengths in the remaining wavelength range, the second optical film reflects at least 80% of light.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method of making an abrasive layer on a backing is disclosed. The method can comprise: providing a distribution tool having a dispensing surface with cavities, providing a backing having a first major surface, supplying magnetizable abrasive particles to the dispensing surface such that at least one of the magnetizable abrasive particles is disposed in a respective one of the cavities, applying a magnetic field to retain the magnetizable abrasive particles disposed in the cavities, aligning the backing with the dispensing surface with the first major surface facing the dispensing surface, transferring the magnetizable abrasive particles from the cavities to the backing, sequent to or simultaneous with transferring the abrasive particles, removing or changing a magnetic field so the magnetic field no longer retains the magnetizable abrasive particles in the cavities.

    Abstract: Methods of tuning one or more properties of a multipart structural adhesive composition, the methods including providing a Part I of the multipart structural adhesive via a first processor-controlled delivery mechanism; providing at least a first sub-Part 2 and a second sub-Part 2 of the multipart structural adhesive via at least a second processor-controlled delivery mechanism; and causing to be formed the multipart structural adhesive by combining the Part 1, the first sub-Part 2, and the second sub-Part 2, wherein the amount, ratio, or both of the first sub-Part 2 and the second sub-Part 2 impact the one or more properties of the multipart structural adhesive composition, wherein the amounts or ratios of the Part 1, the first sub-Part 2 and the second sub-Part 2 affect the one or more properties of the multipart structural adhesive composition, and wherein the multipart structural adhesive has an overlap shear strength of at least about 0.75 MPa (109 psi).

    Abstract: The present invention is a pressure sensitive adhesive including a polyurethane polymer comprising a reaction product of an isocyanate, a (meth) acrylate-containing alcohol having at least one (meth)acrylate group and at least one alcohol group, and a polyol component having a defined solubility parameter of less than about 10; an oligomer comprising a multifunctional (meth)acrylate; and a photoinitiator. A peel adhesion of the pressure sensitive adhesive to glass decreases at least about 20% after being exposed to light radiation.

    Abstract: A decorative film with a cover film of an embodiment includes: (a) a polyurethane layer having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface and containing a polyurethane that is crosslinked at least partially, wherein the polyurethane that is crosslinked at least partially includes at least one of a polyester-based polyurethane or a polycarbonate-based polyurethane: (b) a removable cover film having a corona treated or plasma treated surface, wherein the corona treated or plasma treated surface of the removable cover film is in contact with the first surface of the polyurethane layer: (c) a base layer having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, wherein the first surface of the base layer is in contact with the second surface of the polyurethane layer; and (d) an adhesive layer in contact with the second surface of the base layer.

The marker has a diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the cover. The marker is secured between an inner surface of the cover and a first surface of the holder. The holder is configured to attach to an outer surface of a utility valve cap of an underground valve.
