Abstract:
Provided is an oil separating structure of a variable displacement compressor including: a cylinder block having a plurality of cylinder bores; a front housing disposed in the front of the cylinder block to form a swash plate chamber; a drive shaft rotatably supported at the cylinder block; a lug plate disposed in the swash plate chamber of the front housing and fixedly installed at the drive shaft; a rear housing disposed in the rear of the cylinder block and having a discharge chamber and a suction chamber communicating with the cylinder bores; a swash plate installed to be rotated by the lug plate to vary its inclination angle; pistons connected to the swash plate and reciprocating in the cylinder bores; a suction path for communicating the swash plate chamber and the discharge chamber; an additional exhaust path for communicating the swash plate chamber and the suction chamber; and a control valve installed in the middle of the suction path, characterized in that the drive shaft has a communication aperture formed therein for communicating the swash plate chamber and the suction chamber, and the lug plate has a first communication hole passing therethrough and a second communication hole formed therein for communicating the first communication hole and the communication aperture. Therefore, oil and refrigerant are smoothly separated from each other using only the communication hole formed in the lug plate without an additional oil separator, thereby simplifying an inner constitution of a compressor.
Abstract:
An object-based 3-D audio system. An audio input unit receives object-based sound sources. An audio editing/producing unit converts the sound sources into 3-D audio scene information. An audio encoding unit encodes 3-D information and object signals of the 3-D audio scene to transmit them through a medium. An audio decoding unit receives the encoded data through the medium, and decodes the same. An audio scene-synthesizing unit selectively synthesizes the object signals and 3-D information into a 3-D audio scene. A user control unit outputs a control signal according to the user's selection so as to selectively synthesize the audio scene by the audio scene synthesizing unit. An audio reproducing unit reproduces the audio scene synthesized by the audio scene-synthesizing unit.
Abstract:
A power control method in a wireless access node communicable with a plurality of wireless terminals in a wireless LAN system. Upon request for initial communication from a wireless terminal, the wireless access node transmits a power report request message to the plurality of wireless terminals and determines its transmit power based on a power report signal requesting the highest power among power report signals received from connected wireless terminals. The wireless access node communicates with the connected wireless terminals using the determined transmit power.
Abstract:
A wireless communication system has a queue information search unit for searching a queue-status information provided in a packet unit, a communication priority decision unit for deciding communication priority of external devices based on the queue-status information, giving a higher priority to the external device having a greater number of packets in queues, a communication initiation unit for initiating a communication with the external devices according to the communication priority, a counter for counting the number of times that the communication is initiated for each of the external devices, and a comparator for comparing a counter value of a first external device that corresponds to a transmitted data with a counter value of a second external device that has a maximum counter value. Accordingly, when the wireless communication device transmits and receives data with respect to the plural wireless communication devices, both high throughput and high fairness can be guaranteed.
Abstract:
A wireless communication apparatus, a wireless communication system employing the same and a control method thereof. When the wireless communication apparatus is operated as a master device, the wireless communication apparatus includes a transceiving unit for receiving and transmitting data externally, and a controller for analyzing a destination of a packet received for a certain period of time, detecting an amount of slot usage according to the destination, selecting a temporary master device according to the amount of slot usage, and transferring role of a master to the selected temporary master device. Accordingly, wireless sources can be efficiently used, and at the same time, peer-to-peer communication can be carried out among devices acting as slaves.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a backlight assembly and a liquid crystal display device using the same. A ratio of a pitch, which is an interval between the lamps for supplying light to an LCD panel, to a gap, which is a distance between the center of the lamps and an optical plate, is adjusted to thereby minimize the bright line that badly influences the image display quality, so as to display a high quality image.
Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus and method for converting a 10.2 channel signal into a multi-channel signal having a relatively few number of channels, thereby encoding and decoding the 10.2 channel signal. An apparatus for encoding/decoding a multi-channel signal may include a multi-channel signal converter to convert a first multi-channel signal into a second multi-channel signal having a fewer number of channels when compared to the first multi-channel signal, a remaining signal generator to generate a remaining signal using a difference between the first multi-channel signal and the second multi-channel signal, and an encoder to encode the second multi-channel signal and the remaining signal.
Abstract:
Provided are a method of generating and playing an object-based audio content that may effectively store preset information about an object-based audio content, and a computer-readable recording medium for storing data having a file format structure for an object-based audio service. The method of generating the object-based audio content may include: receiving a plurality of audio objects (310) generating at least one preset using the plurality of audio objects (320) and storing a preset parameter with respect to an attribute of the at least preset and the plurality of audio objects (330). The preset parameter may be stored in a form of a box that is defined in a media file format about the object-based audio content. Through this, it is possible to effectively store a preset about a plurality of audio objects.
Abstract:
A Unified Speech and Audio Codec (USAC) that may process a window sequence based on mode switching is provided. The USAC may perform encoding or decoding by overlapping between frames based on a folding point when mode switching occurs. The USAC may process different window sequences for each situation to perform encoding or decoding, and thereby may improve a coding efficiency.
