A circular stitching device for a sewing machine includes a body base attachable to a sewing bed or an upper surface of a needle plate, a movable base located on the body base so as to be movable in a predetermined direction, a cloth fixing member including a cloth-fixing pin which is passable through a workpiece cloth and is formed with an engagement portion, and a holder holding a proximal end of the cloth-fixing pin, a cloth-fixing pin support detachably attachable to the movable base thereby to support the cloth fixing member so that the cloth fixing member is detachably attachable thereto, and a locking unit which is located on the cloth-fixing pin support and is disengageably engageable with the engagement portion of the cloth-fixing pin, thereby locking the cloth-fixing pin.

A two-beam semiconductor laser device 10 includes: a two-beam semiconductor element LDC having a first and a second semiconductor laser elements LD1 and LD2 that can be driven independently and that are formed integrally on a substrate; and a submount 63 having, mounted on a front part thereof, the two-beam semiconductor laser element LDC with the light-emitting face thereof directed forward and having a first and a second electrode pads 64 and 65 connected to electrodes 61 and 62 of the first and second semiconductor laser element LD1 and LD2 by being kept in contact therewith. The first and second electrode pads 64 and 65 are formed to extend farther behind the two-beam semiconductor laser element LDC, and wires 14 and 16 are wire-bonded behind the two-beam semiconductor laser element LDC.
Abstract:
A fuel cell and an electronic apparatus with same mounted thereon are provided. The fuel cell includes a power generation unit provided with a conduit for an oxidant gas containing at least oxygen, a heat radiation unit connected to the power generation unit so as to radiate heat from the power generation unit, a gas flow means for causing the oxidant gas to flow in the conduit, and a cooling means driven independently from the gas flow means so as to cool the heat radiation unit. By independently controlling the driving of the gas flow means and the cooling means, the fuel cell can be driven in such a manner that the temperature of the power generation unit and the amount of water remaining in the power generation unit are regulated into preferable conditions. Furthermore, it is possible to provide a fuel cell and an electronic apparatus with the same mounted thereon in which power generation can be performed stably and various apparatuses are contained therein in a compact form.

A clip includes a pin having at at least a part thereof a noncircular cross-section, and a grommet having an insertion hole into which the pin can be inserted, wherein a part of the grommet is adapted to be expandable by insertion of the pin into the insertion hole. The grommet has slope surfaces provided at an entrance-side hole edge of the insertion hole to lead the pin into the insertion hole when the pin is displaced from a normal position to be in contact with the entrance-side hole edge of the insertion hole.

When an SIP interface unit of a server apparatus receives an SIP message for call connection from a client apparatus and an SIP message analyzing unit can confirm that the SIP message is normal, a call controller recognizes that an RTP communication is carried out between the client apparatus and another client apparatus and instructs an encrypting capability management unit to determine RTP encrypting information which is used between the client apparatuses. The encrypting capability management unit determines the RTP encrypting information between these client apparatuses based on the instruction. With this arrangement, there can be provided a client-server distributed system that can realize an encrypting security function without requiring a certificate authentification function at a low cost in order to deliver an encrypting key as well as without necessity of holding or managing a certificate and preparing an authenticating server in a system.

The lens array device includes a variable lens array and a fixed lens array. The variable lens array includes a plurality of variable lenses each having electrically-adjustable refracting power. The fixed lens array includes a plurality of fixed lenses each provided in correspondence to each of the plurality of variable lenses. Each of the fixed lenses has a refracting power which, once a corresponding variable lens has come to have a first refracting power, allows the first refracting power to be cancelled out.

A decoding method generates a rectangular residual image by performing an inverse quantization and inverse frequency conversion processes based on coefficient data, a rectangular predicted image by reading a reference image based on motion vector data, and a decoded image by adding the residual image and the predicted image. The predicted images with respect to at least two or more rectangular regions are stored when generating the rectangular predicted image, and a predicted image ready signal notifies that the predicted image with respect to the at least two or more rectangular regions has been generated. The timings to store the coefficient data and the motion vector data are controlled in response to the predicted image ready signal.

A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell stack formed by stacking a plurality of power generation cells, and an ejector for supplying a fuel gas to the fuel cell stack. A flow rectifier for rectifying the flow of the fuel gas is provided at a portion of an insulating plate of the fuel cell stack connecting the ejector and the fuel gas supply passage. The flow rectifier includes an opening having a laterally elongated shape in correspondence with the bottom of the fuel gas supply passage having a laterally elongated shape, and a plurality of holes provided above the opening.
