    Abstract: A computing device, such as a wearable device, may include a gesture sensor that generates a gesture signal in response to a gesture of a user performed while the computing device is being worn or held by the user. A calibration sensor may generate a calibration signal characterizing a degree of tightness with which the computing device is being worn or held by the user. The gesture signal may be calibrated using the calibration signal, to obtain a calibrated gesture signal that is calibrated with respect to the degree of tightness. At least one function of the at least one computing device may be implemented, based on the calibrated gesture signal.

    Abstract: According to an aspect, a method may include receiving, by a display device, ambient light measurement data from ambient light measurement devices. The method may include calculating distance measurements indicative of a measured distance between the ambient light measurement devices. The method may include generating a light measurement graph based on the ambient light measurement data and the distance measurements. The method may include generating a raw tone mapping function based on the light measurement graph, the generating using a spatially aware graph neural network. The method may include applying the raw tone mapping function to media content to generate a color corrected version of the media content. The method may include displaying on a display of the display device the color corrected version of the media content.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for crowd source-based time marking of media items at a platform are provided herein. A media item is provided to first client devices associated with first users of a platform. An indication is received from each of the first client devices of an interesting content segment of the media item as selected by a first user of the platform. At least one content segment of the media item to be associated with a bookmark for a timeline of the media item is determined. The at least one content segment is determined in view of the indication received from each of the first client devices. The media item and the indication of the bookmark is provided to a second client device for presentation to a second user of the platform.

    Abstract: At least one sensor signal may be received from at least one motion sensor of a head-mounted device (HMD), the HMD being associated with a user interface (UI) displaying a UI selection element. A first value of the at least one sensor signal corresponding to a first position of the HMD and a second value of the at least one sensor signal corresponding to a second position of the HMD may be determined, and an initialization point within the UI may also be determined. Then, a relative displacement of the UI selection element may be determined, based on the initialization point, the first value, and the second value, and the UI selection element may be moved within the UI, based on the relative displacement.
