    Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide an apparatus comprising a processor to divide a first projection into a plurality of regions, the plurality of regions comprising a plurality of pixels, detect errant visual content in a first region in the plurality of regions, determine a detail frequency rating for the first region, and apply one of a first rendering technique to the first region in the plurality of regions when the detail frequency rating for the first region in the plurality of regions fails to meet a detail frequency threshold or a second rendering technique to the first region in the plurality of regions when the detail frequency rating for the first region in the plurality of regions meets a detail frequency threshold. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

    Abstract: A system and apparatus can include a printed circuit board comprising a plurality of metal layers including a first set of metal layers and a set plurality of metal layers. A conductor extending through at least the first set of metal layers and the second set of metal layers, the conductor electrically connected to a metal trace, the conductor comprising a first conducting pad, and a first segment extending from the first conducting pad to the metal trace, and a second segment extending from the metal trace in a direction away from the first conducting pad. The PCB can include a first void separating the first segment of the conductor from the first set of metal layers; and a second void separating the second segment of the conductor from the second set of metal layers, the second void larger than the first void.

    Abstract: Technologies for determining the parameters of a transmission line such as a printed circuit board trace and a cable are disclosed. By measuring a reflection coefficient and a transmission coefficient of two different electrical structures with the same type of fixture on each end and transmission lines of different lengths, the attenuation coefficient of the transmission lines can be determined. The attenuation coefficient can indicate whether or not the performance of the transmission line is acceptable or may be used to calibrate a measuring device for subsequent measurements.

    Abstract: One embodiment provides an electrical connector. The electrical connector includes a housing defining a slot; and a pin. The pin includes a stub member comprising a first portion and a second portion, the first portion to couple to a first printed circuit board; and a movable member operable to engage the second portion of the stub member to create a conductive path, wherein the stub member is only engaged with the movable member when a second printed circuit board is inserted into the slot.
