Abstract:
A high pressure fluid filter provided with a pressure responsive member adapted to remain in unchanged position as long as the pressure acting on both sides of the pressure responsive member is balanced but which, upon an unbalance on either side of the pressure responsive member due to a contaminated filter element, is caused to move towards the side where the pressure is less and to thereby mechanically actuate a visual indicator device to signal the particular condition of the filter element and to further provide a bypassing arrangement to bypass the filter element upon an extremely contaminated condition of the filter element.
Abstract:
A device, system, and method for purifying a fluid is provided. The fluid purification device includes a tank, a cover and a release assembly. The tank having a hollow interior. The cover is sealingly coupled to the tank. The release assembly is pivotally coupled to the cover, the release assembly having a relief valve fluidly coupled to the hollow interior, the release assembly being movable between a first position and a second position, the relief valve being movable between an operating position, a released position and a non-operational position.
Abstract:
Modular, stackable filter units are described. The units may contain particles of glass or other filtration material and may be used to cleanse debris-laden water of, for example, swimming pools or spas. They additionally may replace conventional pleated mesh filters and beds of sand if necessary or desired.
Abstract:
A filter is provided comprising a filter media element enclosed by an impermeable bag with inlet and outlet ports provided for flow into and out of the bag and through the filter media element contained in the bag. The bag may be constructed of a sheet of plastic material of multiple layers. The filter element may be a stack of filter media disks for depth filtration and adsorption. The filter provides for cleanly change out, with unfiltered fluid being contained in the bag on the upstream side of the filter element within the bag.
Abstract:
A filter insert (10) comprising: a body portion (12) and a closed-ended tube (14), an open end of which is sealingly affixed around the periphery of the body portion (12); an inlet aperture (16) and an outlet aperture (18) each aperture communicating via a through hole in the body portion (12) with the interior of the tube (14); a filter medium (20) located within the tube (14) and being sealingly interposed between the inlet aperture (16) and the outlet aperture (18), wherein the tube (14) is at least partially manufactured of a flexible plastics material, and wherein the body portion (12) is relatively rigid.
Abstract:
A filter assembly is provided. The filter assembly includes a filter cartridge with a containment bag including a vent port and a support housing, including a split lid.
Abstract:
A filter insert for filtering a fluid, comprising: an elongate closed-ended tube including a circumferential sealing rim; and a conduit for conveying fluid, one end of the conduit forming an inlet opening, the other end of the conduit being suitable for dispersing fluid into a filter medium located within the tube.
Abstract:
A filter box (10) having at least one main compartment (20) in fluid flow communication with a main tank (6) and with a transfer pump (8) for feeding with fuel, together with at least one secondary compartment (30) in fluid flow communication with a secondary tank (7) and an ejector (9). The box includes one grid (40) per compartment co-operating with a system for moving the grid in translation in order to be extracted from said compartment through a slot (23, 33) present in a bottom (14) of the compartment (20, 30), and a leaktight shutter system (50) for each compartment (20, 30) for preventing fuel escaping from said slot (23, 33) of a compartment (20, 30) in the absence of said grid (40).
Abstract:
In a case structure for a fluid pressure device, a filter that constitutes part of a fluid pressure unit is equipped with a first body, a case unit connected to a lower portion of the first body, and a filter unit accommodated in the interior of the case unit. The case unit is made up from an outer case, which is formed as a bottomed cylinder from a light-permeable transparent material, and an inner case inserted into the interior of the outer case. Additionally, by insertion of the case unit into an installation hole that opens on a lower portion of the first body and rotating the case unit, projections and retaining walls provided on an outer circumferential surface of the case unit engage with support members provided in the installation hole, thus placing the case unit in a connected state.
Abstract:
A filter assembly is provided. The filter assembly includes a filter cartridge with a containment bag including a vent port and a support housing, including a split lid.
