Abstract:
A temporary decoration which can be applied by a user to fabrics such as articles of clothing. The temporary decoration may be easily applied to the fabric in a quick and efficient manner without the use of heat or a solvent. Once applied to fabric, the temporary decoration is durable and does not undesirably crack. Additionally, the temporary decoration is easily removable. The present invention also relates to a method for making a temporary decoration.
Abstract:
A hand-tearable masking tape, comprising a plastic backing with a low adhesion backsize on the first major side of the backing and a pressure-sensitive adhesive on the second major side of the backing; wherein the second major side of the backing comprises a microstructured hand-tear pattern and wherein the low adhesion backsize comprises the reaction product of a mercapto-functional silicone macromer.
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an adhesive sheet for protecting coating films which is excellent in the adhesion between a coating layer and a composite film, and has weather resistance.[Means for solving] The adhesive sheet for protecting coating films is one comprising a base layer and an adhesive layer, and the base layer has a coating layer produced by using the fluoroethylene vinyl ether alternating copolymer having a specific structure on one surface of a composite film containing an acrylic polymer and a urethane polymer. It is preferable that the coating layer is cross-linked with a composite film and has cross-linked points. [Selected drawing] None
Abstract:
A vehicle is wrapped by a printed adhesive film where the film is also applied over doors and other areas intended not to be covered. The film is cut at the door edge and over the area by adhesively attaching a tape having a release coating on the front surface and carrying a filament along a center of the front side. The printed film is applied over the door, the area not to be covered and the tapes and is cut along the door edge and around the area by pulling the filament from the tape so that a strip of the film at the door edge and the film over the area can be removed. The film can be stretched and pulled away from the tape for reapplying for proper fit.
Abstract:
A double-sidedly coated backing comprising on one side (referred to below as face) an outer layer of a pressure-sensitive adhesive and on the other side (referred to below as reverse) an outer layer of an apolar release coating forming a contact angle of greater than 85° with water at 20° C.
Abstract:
Provided is an image transfer material, comprising a support, optionally at least one barrier layer, a melt transfer layer, and an image receiving layer. Also provided is a process for preparing the image transfer material. Further provided is a heat transfer process using the disclosed material. In the heat transfer process, after imaging, the image receiving layer and melt transfer layer are peeled away from the optionally barrier-coated support material and placed, preferably image side up, on top of a receptor element. A non-stick sheet is then optionally placed over the imaged peeled material and heat is applied to the top of the optional non stick sheet. The melt transfer layer then melts and adheres the image to the receptor element. A composition comprising: at least one self-crosslinking polymer; and at least one dye retention aid.
Abstract:
A protective tape used for optical member includes a plastic film base, an adhesive layer formed on one side of the plastic film base, and a treated layer formed on an opposite side of the plastic film base. The treated layer is formed with a treat agent containing a silicone resin and a cellulose polymer. The protective tape used for optical member is enabled to direct print with an ink on the treated layer and have a low adhesive property with the adhesive applied to an optical film.
Abstract:
A protective tape used for optical member comprising a plastic film base, an adhesive layer formed on one side of the plastic film base and a treated layer formed on an opposite side of the plastic film base, wherein the treated layer is formed with a treat agent comprising a release agent containing long chain alkyl group or silicone resin, and a cellulose polymer. The protective tape used for optical member is enabled to direct print with an ink on the treated layer and have a low adhesive property with the adhesive applied to an optical film.
