Abstract: The disclosure provides a thin film transistor, including a substrate. The substrate is deposited with a patterned source electrode and a patterned common electrode. The source electrode and the common electrode are covered by a spacer layer. A side of the source electrode away from the common electrode uncovered by the spacer layer is formed to be an exposure component. A drain electrode is deposited and patterned on the spacer layer to form a pixel electrode. The pixel electrode on a side of the source electrode, the exposure component and a side of the substrate towards the source electrode are deposited with a patterned semiconductor layer, a gate insulating layer and a patterned gate electrode in sequence to form a semiconductor channel whose cross-section is a stair structure. The pixel electrode is connected with the source electrode by the semiconductor layer. The disclosure further provides a manufacturing method.

Abstract: The present invention provides a manufacturing method of an IPS array substrate and an IPS array substrate. The manufacturing method of the IPS array substrate according to the present invention uses a half-tone mask to simultaneously form a common electrode and a pixel electrode that stagger in a longitudinal direction so that the common electrode is set inside a common electrode channel of an insulation protection layer while the pixel electrode is set on an upper surface of the insulation protection layer to provide an IPS array substrate, which, compared to a traditional IPS array substrate, allows the common electrode and the pixel electrode to generate therebetween a longitudinal component of an electric field whereby liquid crystal of a liquid crystal panel that is located above the pixel electrode can be driven and used, where the liquid crystal is allowed to rotate horizontally and also allowed to generate a predetermined longitudinal tilt angle the TFT substrate can be a TFT substrate provided for a traditional IPS array substrate, making it possible to save one mask and associated process, as compared to a traditional FFS array substrate, and thus saving manufacturing cost.

Abstract: A liquid crystal panel includes oppositely disposed upper and lower substrates having a liquid crystal disposed therebetween. A surface of the upper substrate and a surface of the lower substrate are formed with viewing angle upper and lower electrodes respectively, and a length of the lower electrode is shorter than that of the upper electrode. The upper electrode completely covers projection of the lower electrode on the upper substrate. A region between the upper and lower electrodes includes adjacent main body region and pretilt region, the pretilt region is corresponding to edges of the upper and lower electrodes, and portions of the upper and lower electrodes corresponding to the main body region have same sizes. A liquid crystal display device and a method for improving liquid crystal rotation obstacle further are provided. Accordingly, a response time of viewing angle switching is reduced and viewing angle symmetry is improved.

A layer thickness of the first insulating layer is larger than a layer thickness of the second insulating layer, and a width of the trench is larger than a width of the aperture in the X direction as a first direction.
