Abstract:
A loudspeaker mount includes a coupling member and a platform attached to the coupling member. The platform includes a wall defining a planar face configured for disposal of a loudspeaker. The coupling member may be clamped to a handle bar of a bicycle.
Abstract:
An audio device includes a housing having first and second support surfaces for supporting the device at different orientations relative to the surface on which the device is placed, a driver to output sound in a radiating pattern associated with a first axis of the driver, and an orientation sensor to detect a direction of a force of gravity. A control circuit coupled to the driver and the orientation sensor determines the direction of the force of gravity relative to the first axis and whether the first axis is oriented to one of a first angle of elevation associated with physically supporting the device by the first surface and a second angle of elevation associated with physically supporting the device by the second surface. The circuit can alters the output by the driver based on the first axis being oriented to the first or second angles of elevation.
Abstract:
A sound control system and method for a vehicle are provided and a sound output of a speaker is automatically adjusted based on a position in which a passenger enters in a seat within the vehicle to provide an optimum sound state. The system includes a passenger detecting unit that is installed at each seat of the vehicle and is configured to detect a passenger entering a seat and a controller that is configured to detect a passenger riding position within the vehicle from a passenger detecting signal output by the passenger detecting unit. In addition, the controller is configured to adjust sound through each speaker within the vehicle based on the passenger riding position.
Abstract:
A low profile speaker system that can be inconspicuously mounted to the back of a flat panel display and provides an acoustical arrangements to create a full home theater surround sound experience while maintaining a compact enclosure footprint. The speaker system can be supported using a stand; the stand integral to the speaker system support architecture and supporting both the speaker system and flat panel television.
Abstract:
A speaker device includes: a first speaker unit (10) provided with a groove part (11); a second speaker unit (20) provided with a groove part (21); and a joining component (30) including a first protrusion (31) and a second protrusion (32). The first protrusion (31) of the joining component (30) is fitted into the groove part (11) of the first speaker unit (10). The second protrusion (32) of the joining component (30) is fitted into the groove part (21) of the second speaker unit (20).
Abstract:
A music playing and listening apparatus including at least one speaker, the speaker having at least two listening modes, at least one mode switch, at least one amplifier, at least one power source, and at least one power diversion switch.
Abstract:
A headset apparatus is provided, the apparatus comprises: a headband; at least two connectors, each of the connectors has at least two arms, a first arm being shorter than a second arm; and at least two speakers, each speaker comprising an audio output element on a first side, each of the audio output elements of each of the speakers face one another during a first music listening mode, and each of the audio output elements of the speakers are designed to be rotated away from one another during a second music playing mode, the rotation causing the change in modes.
Abstract:
There is provided an information processing apparatus including a detection unit configured to detect a usage state of a sound output unit, and a signal processing unit configured to tune sound signals to be outputted to the sound output unit, based on the usage state of the sound output unit.
Abstract:
A shower assembly and system. The assembly may include a shower device including a device housing defining an inlet communicating with an inlet chamber, an outlet and a waterway communicating between the inlet chamber and the outlet, the device housing further defining a receptacle having a closed end and an open end, the inlet chamber being behind the closed end, the waterway extending along the receptacle from the closed end toward the open end; and a second device supportable in the receptacle. The outlet may define an outlet plane, and the second device may include a speaker with a speaker housing providing a speaker outlet, the speaker outlet being one of aligned with and positioned forwardly of the outlet plane when the speaker is supported in the receptacle. The assembly may further include a magnetic connecting structure operable to releasably connect the speaker and the shower device.
Abstract:
A speaker mounting system comprising a speaker housing configured to house a speaker, a wall mount configured to be mechanically fastened to a wall, and one or more adjustment pieces actuatably connecting the speaker housing to the wall mount. The adjustment pieces may comprise a first adjustment piece fixed to the wall mount and a second adjustment piece slidably and rotatably attached to the first adjustment piece and pivotally attached to the speaker housing. The second adjustment piece may be configured to laterally slide toward and away from the wall mount and to rotate about a first axis and the speaker housing may be configured to rotate or pivot relative to the second adjustment piece about a second axis perpendicular to the first axis. The speaker mounting system may also comprise a biasing member and locking mechanism for selectively allowing and preventing rotation about the first and second axes.
