Abstract: Disclosed is a color and luminance measuring device including a filter unit including a case which covers the entire device and has a light incident part formed on one side thereof through which measured light emitted from an object to be measured is incident, a measurement unit which measures luminance and a color by receiving the measured light in the case, and a filter unit which is disposed on a movement path of the measured light in the case to selectively control the luminance of the measured light transmitted to the measurement unit and transmit the measured light, wherein the filter unit reduces the luminance of the measured light to a predetermined level when the measured light has luminance of a predetermined level or higher and transmits the measured light to the measurement unit.

The one or more processing devices store a data item including the one or more metrics.

Abstract: A color-calibration system is provided, which includes a host, a reference display apparatus, and a display apparatus. The host calculates peak-intensity change rates relative to different gain values for blue, green, and red colors using a first spectrum and second spectrum of a first display panel of the reference display apparatus respectively in a first display mode and a second display mode. The host calculates peak-intensity ratios for blue, green, and red colors using the first spectrum and a third spectrum of the first display panel in a predetermined color-temperature display mode. The host calculates blue/green/red gains of a second display panel of the display apparatus using a fourth spectrum of the second display panel in the first display mode, the peak-intensity change rates, and peak-intensity ratios, so that the first display panel and the second display panel display a consistent color in the same predetermined color-temperature display mode.

Abstract: System that enables urine testing in a home environment. A user may apply a urine sample to a card containing multiple tests, and capture an image of the card using a phone; an analysis system executing on the phone or in the cloud may analyze the image and determine test results. The test card and analysis system may compensate for variability in lighting conditions and time of exposure to the urine sample, which are difficult to control in a home environment. The test card may contain fiducial markers of known colors; the analysis system may adjust colors in the captured image based on appearance of these markers. Color adjustments may also compensate for nonuniform lighting across the card. The card may also contain time indicators that change appearance over time after urine is applied, and the analysis system may use these indicators to calculate the time of exposure.
