Abstract: In the ophthalmic apparatus 1 of an aspect example, the image acquiring unit (the fundus camera unit 2, the OCT unit 100, the image data constructing unit 220) acquires an anterior segment image constructed based on data collected from an anterior segment of a subject's eye by OCT scanning. The part image identifying processor 231 performs identification of two or more part images respectively corresponding to two or more parts of the anterior segment from the anterior segment image acquired. The part image assessing processor 232 performs image quality assessment of each of the two or more part images. The anterior segment image assessing processor 233 performs image quality assessment of the anterior segment image based on two or more pieces of assessment data respectively obtained for the two or more part images.

Abstract: A non-destructive inspection system 1 includes a neutron detecting unit 4 and an arithmetic unit 60. The neutron detecting unit 4 includes a collimator 30 and a neutron detector 20 integrated together. The collimator 30 has a wall defining a through passage P. The wall is made from a material that absorbs neutrons produced via an inspection object. The neutron detector 20 is capable of detecting neutrons that have passed through the collimator 30. The arithmetic unit 60 generates information on a position and composition of the inspection object, based on information on the neutrons detected by the neutron detector 20, positional information indicating the position of the neutron detecting unit 4, and posture information indicating the posture of the neutron detecting unit 4. The positional information and the posture information are detected by a position and posture detecting unit 5.

Abstract: A new technique is provided to easily grasp the form of the fundus and the like of the eye to be examined being depicted in a tomographic image. An ophthalmic information processing device includes an image rotation circuit and a display control circuit. The image rotation circuit rotates a tomographic image of the eye to be examined acquired by using optical coherence tomography while making a measurement optical axis be eccentric relative to a predetermined site of the eye to be examined, in accordance with an eccentric amount and an eccentric direction of the measurement optical axis relative to the predetermined site. The display control circuit causes a display device to display the tomographic image rotated by the image rotation circuit.

Abstract: An ophthalmological imaging device includes illumination optics having an illumination light source that outputs an illumination light, a scanner that redirects the illumination light toward a portion of an object to be imaged, and an optical image capture device including a camera that receives backscattered light that is scattered from the illumination light by the object and captures first and second images of the backscattered light. The device also includes a control processor that controls the scanner and the optical image capture device to cause the optical image capture device to capture the first and second images of the object. The first and second images are captured by the camera at different times and extracted from different portions of the backscattered light. The device also includes an image processor that generates a stereoscopic image from the first and second images of the object.
