    Abstract: A chin rest device, wherein the chin rest device is configured to be detachably attached to an optical table or a pedestal, the optical table of an ophthalmologic apparatus is configured to acquire information about a subject eye, and the pedestal is configured to support a measurement head for acquiring information about the subject eye such that the measurement head is movable in horizontal and vertical directions. The chin rest device comprises an attachment that is configured to be detachably attached to the optical table or the pedestal; and a chin rest portion that is configured to extend from the attachment toward a chin of an examinee to support the chin.

    Abstract: An ophthalmic apparatus includes an irradiation optical system, an optical scanner, an optical splitting and combining unit, and a detector. The irradiation optical system includes a light source and is configured to generate measurement light using light from the light source. The optical scanner is configured to deflect the measurement light and to guide the deflected measurement light to a subject's eye. The optical splitting and combining unit is configured to guide the measurement light to the optical scanner and to generate interference light between reference light that is generated from the light from the light source and returning light of the measurement light from the subject's eye. The detector is configured to detect the returning light and the interference light via the optical splitting and combining unit.

    Abstract: An ophthalmologic apparatus includes a visual-target presenting portion that is configured to present visual targets to left and right subject eyes, respectively; and an objective measurement optical system that is configured to objectively measure eye characteristics of the left and right subject eyes, respectively. The visual-target presenting portion is configured to present the visual targets while changing a convergence position, where two lines of sight from positions of the left and right subject eyes intersect, with pinhole plates respectively disposed at positions conjugate with pupils of the left and right subject eyes. The objective measurement optical system is configured to obtain the objective refractive values of the left and right subject eyes, respectively, under a condition where the pinhole plates are respectively disposed by the visual-target presenting portion and the visual targets presented at the convergence position are binocularly fused.

    Abstract: A slit lamp microscope of an aspect example includes an illumination system, first photographing system, fixation system, movement mechanism, and controller. The illumination system projects slit light onto an anterior segment of a subject's eye from a first direction. The first photographing system photographs the anterior segment onto which the slit light is being projected, from a second direction different from the first direction. The fixation system outputs fixation light for fixation of the subject's eye. The movement mechanism moves the illumination system and the first photographing system. the controller performs a first control for the movement mechanism to move at least the illumination system and a second control for the first photographing system to photograph the anterior segment a plurality of times in parallel with each other while causing the fixation system to output the fixation light.
