    Abstract: Apparatuses are disclosed herein for holding and securing an item. In one embodiment the item holder includes at least one layer of material between two outer layers of material. The two outer layers are made of a different material than the material of the at least one layer of material. Portions of the two outer layers and the at least one layer are secured together to form an opened ended receptacle for receiving an item. A set of hook/loop fasteners are secured to the exterior of the receptacle. The item holder also includes a material loop adapted to receive the receptacle. The material loop includes an interior surface that includes a second set of hook/loop fasters adapted to contact the first set of hook/loop fasteners. Although not required, an insertion tool may be used for insertion of receptacle into the material loop.

    Abstract: A personal flow meter for measuring water consumption of an individual has a housing, inductors attached to the exterior of the housing and a rotatable member disposed within the housing. A front cover and rear cover are attached to the housing. The front cover includes a fluid inlet having an angulated internal fluid channel that causes water to enter the housing at an angle. The rear cover has a fluid outlet to allow egress of water within the housing. The rotatable member includes angulated fins. Water entering the housing via the internal fluid channel perpendicularly strikes the fins to initiate rotation of the rotatable member. Magnets are attached to the rotatable member in an alternating magnetic pole arrangement. Rotation of the rotatable member causes the inductors to generate voltage signals. Electronic circuitry processes the voltage signals and generates signals that represents the individual's water consumption over a period of time.

    Abstract: An improved process provides high-density pre-form billets that meet dimensional limitations required for case-load tooling. Previous isostatic fill procedures were improved in two ways to accommodate varying bulk densities or powder compositions. First, during the isostatic fill procedure, the powder fill is subject to both a high frequency vibration and a high amplitude, low frequency impulse. The combination of these two inputs is critical to ensure polymer bonded explosives pack to consistent densities. Second, unlike in conventional practices, the fill rate is kept constant throughout the entire fill process and the mold is completely filled by the time the required powder mass has been dispensed.
