    Abstract: A tissue resection device for resecting tissue from a target site within a patient's body. The device includes an elongate shaft having a proximal end and a distal end. An actuation member extends partially through the shaft, and reciprocates within the shaft between a retracted position and an extended position. Multiple snare wires extend through the actuation member, and emerge outwards from a distal portion of the actuation member. The snare wires cooperate and join to form a snare loop, which engages the tissue intended to be resected. The snare loop is configured to enhance friction while engaging the tissue, to resect the tissue.

    Abstract: A system for clipping tissue includes a clip having first and second jaws. Each of the first and second jaws defines an opening through which a control wire passes. A collapsible member is coupled between the first and second jaws. The member is biased to urge the first and second jaws away from one another along an axis of the control wire to a first expanded configuration. The first and second jaws are movable against the bias of the member via the control wire to a second contracted configuration in which the first and second jaws are moved along the axis of the control wire toward one another to lockingly engage tissue received therebetween. The movement of control wire causes a corresponding movement of the first jaw relative to the second jaw to move the first and second jaws from the first expanded configuration to the second contracted configuration.

    Abstract: An insert or elongate member divides the lumen of an elongated medical device, such as the working channel of an endoscope, into two or more secondary lumens. The insert or elongate member thereby improves the ability of the lumen of the elongated medical device to accommodate multiple items or uses. The insert or elongate member is capable of securing one item, such as a pull line, such that it does not interfere with another item positioned in the lumen of the elongated medical device or with another use of the lumen of the elongated medical device. In accordance with some embodiments, a ligating instrument comprises a ligating band dispenser, a pull line, and an elongate member having a dividing wall structure or a plurality of lumens, wherein the elongate member divides a working channel of an endoscope into a plurality of secondary lumens.
