Abstract: Various systems and methods for implementing random access channel security are described herein. An apparatus for a base station includes: receiver circuitry to receive at the base station, a signal from a user equipment (UE) transmitter to access resources of the base station; statistics circuitry to calculate high-order statistics on the signal to produce an identification indication; a memory device to store the high-order statistics and the identification indication; and processing circuitry to: associate the identification indication with the UE transmitter; use the identification indication to determine that multiple failures of a random access channel (RACH) process have occurred from the UE transmitter; and restrict later attempts by the UE transmitter to perform RACH processes with the base station.

Sensed data received in a broadcast message from the sensing coordinator is decoded. The sensed data including data associated with one or more non-V2X capable sensing nodes.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for dynamic resource unit allocation for wireless local-area networks (WLANs) include an apparatus of an access point (AP) including processing circuitry configured to determine a group of stations (STAs) and first RUs for uplink (UL) multi-user (MU) orthogonal frequency division multiple-access (OFDMA) transmissions. The processing circuitry is further configured to transmit a trigger frame (TF) including indications of the determined first RUs for the group of STAs to transmit trigger-based (TB) physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDUs) (TB PPDUs) in response to the TF. The processing circuitry may be further configured to in response to a STA not responding to the TF, determine the STA as being inactive, and reallocate to active STAs RUs of inactive STAs, and transmit a second TF to the group of STAs that are active.

Abstract: Technology for a base station operable to transmit downlink reference signals to user equipments (UEs) is disclosed. The base station can identify a UE to receive a set of pre-configured downlink reference signals from the base station. The set of pre-configured downlink reference signals can include a set of pre-configured pilot symbols in accordance with a defined reference signal transmission pattern that is characterized by a first pilot symbol spacing parameter (Nt) in a subcarrier time domain and a second pilot symbol spacing parameter (Nf) in a subcarrier frequency domain. The base station can transmit to the UE the set of pre-configured downlink reference signals in accordance with the defined reference signal transmission pattern. The UE can be configured to detect the set of pre-configured downlink reference signals and perform a channel estimation based on the set of pre-configured downlink reference signals.

Abstract: Embodiments of an access point (AP), station (STA), and method of communication are generally described herein. The AP may perform channel sensing in a first channel of a first frequency band and a second channel of a second frequency band to obtain access for transmission of a physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) that comprises multiple subframes. The transmission of the PPDU may be configurable to use a multi-band layer-1 aggregation of the first and second channels. While the second channel is unavailable, the AP may transmit one or more subframes on the first channel without usage of the multi-band layer-1 aggregation. When it is determined that the second channel has become available, the AP may switch to synchronized transmission of the subframes on the first and second channels in accordance with the multi-band layer-1 aggregation.

A device can include a first interface to couple to a host-oriented network (HON), a second interface to couple to an information-centric network (ICN), a memory including data stored thereon mapping named data in the ICN to a respective host in the HON, and content processing circuitry to receive an interest packet or content packet from the ICN through the first interface, produce a corresponding HON packet based on the mapping in the memory, and provide the HON packet to the HON through the second interface.

Abstract: Embodiments of Evolved Node-B (eNBs), user equipment (UE) and methods for licensed shared access (LSA) handover are generally described herein. An eNB includes hardware processing circuitry to receive a command to release spectrum resources in a LSA band over which the eNB serves an LSA cell; to determine whether user equipment (UEs) served by the eNB are permitted to skip a random access process (RAP) to be handed over to a target cell operating on a band separate from the LSA band; and to transmit a message to a UE served by the eNB instructing the UE that the UE is to be handed over to the target cell, the message including one or more indicators based on the determination. Other apparatuses, systems and methods are also disclosed.
