Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a first common frequency resource (CFR) within a bandwidth part (BWP) and a second CFR within the BWP. Accordingly, the UE may receive, using a first numerology, a non-group-common communication at least partially in the BWP. The UE may also receive, using the first numerology, a group-common communication at least partially in the first CFR, and receive, using a second numerology, a group-common communication at least partially in the second CFR. As an alternative, the UE may receive an indication of a CFR within a BWP. Accordingly, the UE may receive, using a first numerology, a non-group-common communication in the BWP and a first group-common communication in the CFR, and receive, using a second numerology, a second group-common communication in the CFR. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify that the UE is in communication with a primary cell and a secondary cell in a carrier aggregation configuration, where the primary cell is a cross-carrier scheduled cell and the secondary cell is a cross-carrier scheduling cell. The UE may receive downlink control information from the secondary cell. The downlink control information may include a cross-carrier scheduling indication that a data transmission is scheduled with the primary cell. The UE may monitor a common search space of the primary cell for control information that pertains to communications with the primary cell. The UE may communicate with the primary cell via the data transmission in accordance with at least one of the downlink control information from the secondary cell and the control information from the common search space of the primary cell.

Abstract: Since multiple transmit-receive point (TRP) communications may increase the number of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates without increasing the number of cells, new limits for multi-TRP communications may be defined. A UE may determine a PDCCH monitoring capability across all downlink serving cells that may account for multiple-TRP cells and for carrier aggregation and dual connectivity using a a monitoring capability for a first control resource set (CORESET) group and a second CORESET group. Further, the UE may determine limits of a number of serving cells based on the capability and a configuration of serving cells. The UE may determine a total limit and a per cell limit of PDCCH candidates and non-overlapped control channel elements (CCEs) to monitor in a slot for a cell group for the first CORESET group and for the second CORESET group. The UE may perform blind decoding operations within the limits.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a group-common physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), where the group-common PDSCH is repeated for a number of repetitions. Accordingly, the UE may determine this number of repetitions and then monitor for the group-common PDSCH based on the number of repetitions. In some implementations, the group-common PDSCH may include a semi-static repetition scheme, where the number of repetitions is indicated via a group aggregation factor. Additionally or alternatively, the group-common PDSCH may include a dynamic repetition scheme, where the number of repetitions is indicated via a group repetition number. Additionally, the techniques described herein may enable the configuration for the repeated group-common PDSCH to include gaps between each repetition of the group-common PDSCH and for the UE to transmit acknowledgment feedback for the repetitions of the group-common PDSCH.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for dynamic cell activation and deactivation. A network entity may configure one or more cells for dynamic activation and deactivation, and a UE may provide information to the network entity to allow efficient scheduling and cell activation and deactivation. A UE may provide a capability indication of support for dynamic cell activation and deactivation, along with information such as supported switching times, supported rates of activation and deactivation, a number of cells that can be activated and deactivated, or any combinations thereof. In some cases, a UE may provide UE assistance information to the network, such as in configured periodic reporting, in aperiodic reporting that is activated based on a trigger from the network, in response to a network request, or any combinations thereof.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses that support channel state information (CSI) reporting techniques for secondary cell (SCell) activation. A user equipment (UE) may receive one or more medium access control-control elements (MAC-CEs) that indicate a secondary cell (SCell) activation command, an aperiodic tracking reference signal (AP-TRS) trigger, and an aperiodic channel state information (AP-CSI) report trigger. The network entity may signal the SCell activation command, the AP-TRS trigger, and the AP-CSI report trigger in the same MAC-CE or in separate MAC-CEs. The UE may receive and measure AP-TRS in accordance with the AP-TRS trigger indicated by the one or more MAC-CEs, and may perform measurements via an aperiodic channel measurement resource (AP-CMR) and an aperiodic interference measurement resource (AP-IMR) in accordance with the AP-CSI report trigger indicated by the one or more MAC-CEs. Accordingly, the UE may transmit an AP-CSI report associated with the measurements.
