    Abstract: Disclosed is an electronic device. Other various embodiments as understood from the specification are also possible. The electronic device may include an antenna, a communication module including a transceiver, and a control circuit. The control circuit may be configured to radiate a first signal generated from the transceiver through the antenna, to obtain at least part of a second signal obtained by combining a forward signal delivered from the communication module to the antenna and a reverse signal reflected from the antenna, and to determine a reflection coefficient for the antenna based on at least part of the first signal and at least part of the second signal.

    Abstract: Provided are an electronic device for determining failure of a signal path and a component, and a method for operating the electronic device according to various embodiments. The electronic device comprises: at least one connection part for connection to an external device; a first signal path including an amplifier for amplifying a signal transmitted to the outside of the electronic device; a second signal path for obtaining another signal from the outside of the electronic device; an antenna port electrically connected to the first signal path and the second signal path through a filter circuit; and a communication module, wherein the communication module may be configured to transmit a transmission signal through the first signal path to the antenna port, obtain at least a part of the transmission signal through the second signal path, and determine whether the electronic device is defective on the basis of the transmission signal and information associated with at least a part of the transmission signal. Various other embodiments are possible.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a voltage protection circuit for preventing power amplifier burnout in an electronic device. The electronic device includes a power amplifier (PA) configured to amplify a transmission signal, a switch configured to set a path of a signal outputted from the PA, a bias control circuit configured to control the supply of a bias current driving the PA, and a voltage protection circuit configured to provide a main control signal for turning off the PA earlier than turning off the switch based on a battery voltage providing a driving power of the electronic device, and forward the main control signal to the bias control circuit, wherein, in response to receiving the main control signal instructing to turn off the PA from the voltage protection circuit, the bias control unit stops the supply of the bias current driving the PA.

The first and second housings are rotatably coupled to each other via the hinge module to be in a folded state or an unfolded state.
