Abstract: A cap that applies pressure to the scalp to expel inflammatory fluid from the periosteum. In some implementations, the device may include a cap body, having an exterior surface and an interior surface, where the cap body is configured to fit over the head of the user snugly, a chin strap is attached to the cap body, and a plurality of pressure pads secured to the interior surface of the cap body. The pressure pads may be filled with a non-Newtonian material. The user sets the pressure applied by tightening or loosening the chin strap.

Abstract: An ergonomic massage chair is configured with back and bottom structures held up by a pair of legs. The various support bars and structure of the ergonomic massage chair may be comprised of, in typical implementations, metal, but plastic and other suitable structures are also possible. The back structure has perimeter support bars that form the base of the back support, and horizontal support bars extend from a left perimeter support bar to a right perimeter support bar. The bottom structure likewise has a perimeter support bar that forms the structure of the bottom. A horizontal support bar extends from a left perimeter support bar to a right perimeter support bar. Nodes are attached to the ergonomic chair, and stability balls fit inside openings created by the support bars and nodes. A cover having memory foam pillows therein encapsulates the chair to provide users with customized setups that suit them.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a thermal guide element to contact a specific site of a subject to apply a thermal stimulus from the thermal guide element to the specific site; an electrical thermal stimulus controller to raise a temperature of the thermal guide element; and a laser Doppler tissue blood flow meter attached to the subject. The electrical thermal stimulus controller raises a peak temperature of the thermal guide element to be 50±5° C. when the thermal guide element is brought into contact with the specific site to apply the thermal stimulus to the specific site, while measuring the rate of the blood flow by the laser Doppler tissue blood flow meter. The rate of the blood flow is increased in the subject by 30% or more as compared with the rate of the blood flow measured before the application of the thermal stimulus.

Abstract: A prosthesis for insertion in an ear to reduce pain resulting from TMJ disorders. The ear insert has a predefined shape conforming to the shape of the ear canal when the jaw is in an open position. The ear insert supports the TMJ and associated secondary musculature to reduce strain in the TMJ area, including the muscles, ligaments, nerves, and the temporo-mandibular joint itself. The insert is hollow in the inside to permit hearing and is made of a rigid material which retains the shape of the ear canal. A scalloped indenture extends across a surface of the ear insert positioned behind the tragus.

A method of utilizing the posture training device to train the posture in a person is also provided.

Abstract: The embodiments disclose a new type of smart shoe with sensor device embedded. The electron signals are collected from the sensors located at the acupuncture points. Through these points, the shoes can create an outline of the way a person walks on average, and can then be uploaded onto an app, where it can be examined by podiatrists. Afterwards, a podiatrist can then determine the best padding to insert into the shoes in order to slowly correct the person's feet and cause their health to increase. In addition, the padding can also be automatically adjusted through the app, which can control the sensors in the padding of the shoe. These types of shoes can be manufactured by 3D printing technology.
