Abstract:
A massage device has a close-packed presenting structure of massage elements, mounted on a working unit. The presenting structure is sufficiently closely packed to prevent insertion of an adult's digit, e.g. finger or toe, into the spaces between respective ones of the massage elements. Such close packing, in a drum-type structure of closely-packed massage elements, prevents a user from accidental injury to his/her fingers or toes if and as the presenting structure is rotating about an axis of rotation. The massage device can have a heel rest, a variable speed drive, and/or a heater which heats the massage elements.
Abstract:
A massaging apparatus that includes at least one massaging element in a housing and extending therefrom for use in manipulating a subject's tissue and further including a radiant heat source.
Abstract:
A massage apparatus for bowels in a toilet seat comprising a base member, a seat member, a cover member and a water storage member comprises a motor unit having a motor therein and being disposed at the back of the base member of the toilet seat, a rotary unit having a rotation axis rotatable according to the rotation of the motor and an eccentric member eccentrically coupled to the rotation axis and extending to opposite side portions of the motor unit, a belt portion whose opposite ends being connected to the rotary unit, and an operation unit being disposed at one side portion of the base member and adjusting the on/off state and rotation speed of the motor unit. The belt portion is cut at the center and has a buckle and a tongue formed at the end of the cut portion for selectively coupling them, and a contact pad having a plurality of projections on the rear surface is formed at the center of the belt portion with the tongue so as to firmly secure the belt portion to the center of the abdomen and maximize the massaging effect.
Abstract:
A foldable massaging mattress is disclosed. The massaging mattress includes a mattress body having a protruding pillow portion at an end thereof and a track having a first end and a second end. The track is arranged in the mattress body and extends in the longitudinal midway of the mattress body. The track has at least two sections pivotally connected with each other. A gear case is arranged in the protruding pillow portion of the mattress body in a location adjacent to the first end of the track. A sprocket case is arranged in the mattress body in a location adjacent to the second end of the track. A DC motor is included for driving the gear case. A carriage has opposed two ends and is movable along the track. A chain runs between the gear and sprocket cases and has two ends attached to the opposed two ends of the carriage. The chain is driven by the gear case.
Abstract:
A massage device can include a first wheel assembly, comprising: a first base; a first wheel supported at a predetermined distance from a first side of the first base; at least one first stem attached to a second side of the first base; the massage device further comprising: a body, the body having at least one socket, wherein the at least one socket is constructed and arranged to receive the at least one first stem, and wherein the body is constructed and arranged to prevent the at least one first stem from rotating within the at least one socket; and two or more arms connected to the body, wherein the two or more arms are constructed and arranged to removably mount the body onto a wall of a building.
Abstract:
A brace for retaining an organ in an expanded state configured to adhere and substantially conform to an external surface of the organ includes an inner layer, an outer layer, and at least one sheet of thin malleable material forming a middle layer between the inner layer and outer layer, the at least one sheet being enclosed and configured to rigidify and maintain the organ in an expanded state upon application of a vacuum. The brace can be incorporated into a brassiere.
Abstract:
An ingestible capsule device (ICD) comprising at least: a capsule-housing; and at least one motion device. Each motion device is located inside the ICD and has a power supply, a fixture element, at least one motor, and at least one weight assembly movable by use of the at least one motor, wherein the weight assembly is movably connected, via a hinge, to the fixture element to allow pendulum-like swinging movement of the weight assembly, in respect to the fixture element, about a swinging axis “x”. The swinging movement about the swinging axis “x” causes pounding of the weight of the weight assembly over at least one inner wall of the capsule-housing. The motion device may be configured to stimulate a gastrointestinal tract (GTI) section of the subject, by transmitting pounding forces of the weight assembly from the inner wall of the capsule-housing onto an inner wall of the GIT section.
Abstract:
A device for treatment of the Peyronie's disease, containing a hollow cylindrical body placed in the bed of a fixed base plate for precision positioning of the penis with respect to the center of the plaque in its subcutaneous tissue, wherein adjacent to the cylindrical body is the face of the shock wave generator firmly connected to a supporting rigid navigation frame with the possibility of travel in three mutually orthogonal directions and three rotations in three mutually perpendicular planes to ensure the localization of the highest shock wave energy level in the second focal point of the shock wave generator which is identical to the position of the center of the plaque, and the space between the inner and outer walls of the cylindrical body is filled with degassed water with a temperature close to the patient's temperature.
Abstract:
An actuator system includes a sleeve for accommodating an appendage of a user therein, actuators, and a power source. Each actuator includes a deformable shell defining a pouch including an enclosed internal cavity with a fluid dielectric contained therein, and first and second electrodes disposed over opposing sides of the pouch. The power source provides a voltage between the first and second electrodes. The sleeve includes features for distributing the actuators within the sleeve in a predetermined manner. Application of the voltage produces directional forces on the appendage. In embodiments, the first and second electrodes are disposed over the pouch such that, when the actuator is activated, the fluid dielectric is displaced in a length direction within the pouch, and the features in the sleeve may or may not align the actuators such that the length direction of the actuators are in alignment.
Abstract:
An adult vaping device that can include a housing having an first portion and a second portion, a vaping system disposed within the housing, toward the first portion of the housing, a vibration mechanism disposed within the housing, toward the second portion of the housing, a power source disposed within the housing and electrically connected to the vibration mechanism and the vaping system, an outer contact layer disposed about the housing, and a cap removably connected to the first portion of the housing, adjacent the vaping system. The vaping system can include a receptacle for receiving a vaping cartridge. The power source can selectively provide power to the vaping system and/or the vibration mechanism. The outer contact layer can cover the housing. The cap can allow access to the cartridge receptacle formed within the vaping system. The vibration mechanism and the vaping system can operate independently or simultaneously.
