Abstract: A silicone grease composition comprising 3-30 wt % of an organopolysiloxane and 60-96.9 wt % of a heat conductive filler is diluted with a least volatile isoparaffin having a boiling point of 260-360° C. Despite a heavy loading of heat conductive filler, the grease composition is easily applicable to heat sinks as a thin uniform coating. The composition is drastically increased in shelf stability at room temperature, easy to handle, and provides for good heat dissipation.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to an apparatus for distributing a cable-pulling composition onto a cable as it is being pulled through a conduit. In one embodiment, the cable pulling composition is a block of an enhanced composition, e.g., consisting essentially of boron nitride that facilitates the pulling of cables through conduits. The invention further relates to a method for pulling cables through conduits by applying an effective amount of boron nitride composition onto the cable surface through the use of the cable-pulling apparatus of the invention.

Abstract: This invention is to provide a conductive grease which is less to decrease conductivity as a time passes. The conductive grease comprises abase oil, a thickener, a conductive solid powder, and at least one kind of a wear inhibitor, an extreme pressure agent and an oiliness agent, wherein an amount of the conductive solid powder added is 0.1 to 10 wt %, and an amount of the at least one kind of a wear inhibitor, an extreme pressure agent and an oiliness agent added is 0.1 to 10 wt %. Further, the conductive grease comprises the base oil and at least one of conductive additives, and the conductive additives are fibrous carbon, metallic particle, metallic compound particle and carbon nano-tube. The conductive grease to be packed into the rolling bearing comprises conductive fine particles such as carbon black and has an oil separation degree of 2% or lower. A ball bearing to be favorably used at high temperature comprises an inner race and an outer race, and a plurality of balls freely rotating between both races, and the conductive grease packed into a space defined between both races and holding the plural balls therein, and the conductive grease comprises the base oil, a thickener comprising fluorine compound or silicone compound and 0.2 to 10 wt % of the carbon black.

Abstract: This invention is directed to a liquid metal and oil teating composition and to the process of preparing the composition. In the process there are first mixed together a vegetable oil such as cashew oil, an oleate ester such as magnesium oleate, and Ingredient A which is material selected from the group consisting of powdered ferric chloride, lead oxide, ferric oxide, iron carbide, chromium carbide and tungsten carbide and mixtures thereof dispersed in an aqueous solution of acid selected from the group consisting of hydrochloric acid, perchloric acid and sulfuric acid. The acid solution is concentrated, preferably containing about 40 volume % acid. The mixture is heated and stirred and then distilled. The residue is then heated to about 100.degree.-150.degree. F. while adding to it, with stirring, an antioxidant, a polar hydrocarbon, a carbonyl, a carboxyl amide, a viscosity improver, at least one of a tackifier and a sulfonate, and a petroleum oil until a homogeneous liquid is obtained.
