Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a tank comprises providing a covered liner by winding a fiber impregnated with a thermosetting resin on a liner; and performing a heat curing process that cures the thermosetting resin by heating the covered liner in a heating furnace. The heat curing process comprises controlling the heating to prevent temperature of the thermosetting resin that is changed by the heating from exceeding a heat resistant temperature of the liner.
Abstract:
Provided is a liquefied gas transfer device for reducing boil-off gas. The liquefied gas transfer device for reducing boil-off gas comprises: at least one transfer pipe formed in a vertical direction inside a quay for storing liquefied gas so as to transfer the liquefied gas; a branch pipe which is branched from a lower part of the transfer pipe to one side of the transfer pipe, and which has an end part opened toward a bottom surface of the quay; a valve which is connected to the branch pipe and/or the transfer pipe, and which opens and closes the branch pipe or the transfer pipe so as to move the liquefied gas from the transfer pipe to the branch pipe; and a resistance member disposed inside the branch pipe so as to interrupt the flow of the liquefied gas.
Abstract:
The present invention refers to a cylindrical cavity or cap, which prevents the condensation and the crystallization of water vapor or other possible compounds present in the air, around the outlet vent of a container having condensate gas. It prevents the condensation and the crystallization of frost or other compounds because of the formation of an environment free of other compounds around the outlet vent with gases from their own evaporation of the condensate gases in the container
Abstract:
A pallet for transportation of flammable gases allows tanks containing flammable gas to be securely transported. The pallet is manufactured from steel or aluminum alloy, and provides apertures for a forklift to lift and carry the pallet. A T-shaped vertical post extends upward from the center of the pallet platform, terminating in a ring at the center of the crossbar, so the pallet may hang from the bucket of a crane or endloader and be carried. Ring clamps are provided on the sides of the post, enabling users to secure two tanks of welding gases in a vertical position on the post, with their lower ends resting on the pallet platform. Hooks are provided on the post, so coiled hoses may hang on them. An open-topped toolbox may be provided on the top of the pallet platform, and caster wheels may be provided on the corners of the bottom.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a device, system and methods for tracking conductive composite pressurized gaseous storage tanks. The system including anchoring an RFID device in a non-conductive blind boss. Wherein the anchor material has a low dielectric and has minimal reflection if RF energy.
Abstract:
A fluid dispensing system for delivering a gas free chemical. The fluid dispensing system includes a gas separation device that separates a liquid from bubbles entrained in the liquid and accumulating the gas from the bubbles in a reservoir. A level sensor detects if the liquid in the reservoir drops too low, triggering the gas separation device to vent the gas from the reservoir. An empty detect apparatus that detects pressure droop of the liquid may also be implemented for taking appropriate action.
Abstract:
In a pressure vessel which is formed by blow molding a plastic liner with a mouth member fitted on a blow pin, a rotational torque is prevented from being applied between the mouth member and the blow pin when removing the blow pin. A parison is placed around the mouth member which is fitted on the blow pin, and is blow molded with a die assembly placed around the parison so that a vessel shaped plastic liner is formed. An engagement structure which is provided between the mouth member of the pressure vessel and the blow pin includes a ball moveably received in a radial through hole of the peripheral wall of the blow pin, and a release groove formed on an inner circumferential surface of the mouth member and having a prescribed depth. When the blow pin is introduced into the mouth member until the ball and the release groove oppose each other, the ball moves radially outward and becomes partly received by the release groove to engage the mouth member with the blow pin.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a high-pressure tank capable of appropriately discharging high-pressure gas. The high-pressure tank is mounted on a mobile body, stores the high-pressure gas, and includes a plurality of gas discharge means for discharging the high-pressure gas from the high-pressure tank. The gas discharge means are disposed at opposite sides of the high-pressure tank in a longitudinal direction. The gas discharge means can each have a path through which the inside of the high-pressure tank communicates with the outside thereof, and a manual valve including a manual operating section for opening and closing the path by a manual operation.
Abstract:
The invention addresses the task of providing a gas filling system and a vehicle that are able to simply detect, at a vehicle side, whether there is a drift in a temperature sensor that measures a temperature in a tank of the vehicle. The gas filling system and the vehicle include: a vehicle that includes single or multiple tanks that are able to contain high-pressure gas and a first communication instrument; and a gas station that includes a second communication instrument that receives a signal from the first communication instrument and that feeds gas to the single or multiple tanks. The vehicle includes: a first temperature sensor that acquires temperature information of the gas stored in the single tank; a second temperature sensor that acquires temperature information outside the single tank 22; and a controller. The controller permits transmission of the temperature information of the first temperature sensor to the second communication instrument on the condition that the absolute value of a difference between an indicated value of the first temperature sensor and an indicated value of the second temperature sensor is smaller than or equal to a predetermined value, and prohibits transmission of the temperature information of the first temperature sensor to the second communication instrument on the condition that the absolute value of the difference is larger than the predetermined value.
Abstract:
A method for determining a filling mass in a thermally insulated container for a cryogenically stored gas is disclosed. The filling mass is determined by way of a known container volume and a calculated density of the gas content of the container. A temperature sensor is used for measuring a mixing temperature of a liquid and a gaseous phase of the gas. The liquid phase is extracted by way of a first extraction supply line at the geodetically lowest point, and the gaseous phase is extracted by way of a second extraction supply line at the geodetically highest point of the container cavity. Downstream of the extraction points, after a convergence of the first and the second extraction supply line to a single extraction supply line leading out of the container, the temperature sensor is placed where a complete and thorough mixing of the liquid and the gaseous phase of the gas from the first and second extraction supply line has already taken place.
