Abstract: A rocker arm includes an outer arm and an inner arm which selectively pivot relative to each other. A lock pin moves between a coupled position in which the lock pin prevents the inner arm from pivoting relative to the outer arm past a predetermined in a first direction and a decoupled position in which the lock pin permits rotation past the predetermined position in the first direction. A lost motion spring biases the inner arm to pivot relative to the outer arm in a second direction which is opposite of the first direction. A travel stop extends along a travel stop axis and has a travel stop surface such that the extent to which the inner arm pivots relative to the outer arm in the second direction is dependent upon the rotational position of the travel stop about the travel stop axis.

Abstract: A fluid injector includes a fluid inlet; a valve seat located downstream of the fluid inlet and having a valve seat aperture extending therethrough; a valve member moveable between a closed position and an open position to control flow through the valve seat aperture; and director plate including a first aperture and a second aperture extending therethrough. A fluid flow channel is formed between the valve seat and the director plate and extends from an inlet end to an outlet end. The first aperture and the second aperture extend through the director plate from the fluid flow channel. The first aperture is located between the inlet end and the second aperture. The fluid flow channel decreases in cross-sectional area from the inlet end toward the first aperture and the fluid flow channel increases in cross-sectional area from the first aperture toward the second aperture.

Abstract: A pass-through cable connector assembly includes a connector body extending along an axis and having a peripheral wall which surrounds the axis and defines an interior of the connector body, the connector body also having a compartment wall which divides the interior into first and second compartment, the compartment wall having an aperture extending therethrough from the first compartment to the second compartment, the aperture defining an aperture wall. A first cable is located within the first compartment. A first terminal in electrical communication with the first cable is located within the aperture and circumferentially contacts the aperture wall. A second cable in electrical communication with the second cable is located within the second compartment. The first terminal and the second terminal have complementary mating features which mechanically lock the first terminal to the second terminal and place the first terminal in electrical communication with the second terminal.

Abstract: A high pressure fuel pump unit includes a pump head where an inlet channel opens into a low-pressure chamber itself in fluid communication with a compression chamber. A valve is arranged so that when it is closed the fuel fills the low-pressure chamber and when the valve opens the fuel flows from the low-pressure chamber into the compression chamber. The pump head also includes a resilient member arranged so that when the valve is closed, the resilient member deforms to increase the volume of the low pressure chamber. When the valve opens, the fuel flows into the compression chamber, pushed by the resilient member which takes back its original shape.
