Abstract: A touch system includes a touch panel; an active pen configured to generate a signal; and a touch controller electrically connected to the touch panel and configured to detect the signal. When the touch controller supports at least two protocols, a protocol of the touch controller is automatically switched to one of the at least two protocols. The active pen automatically detects the one of the at least two protocols, and a protocol of the active pen is switched to the one of the at least two protocols.

Abstract: A novel method is proposed to operate a stylus product. In this method, inertial measurement unit (IMU) signals are used to estimate a tilted angle of the stylus product. On the other hand, acceleration signals measured when a finger taps a stylus are collected to train a deep neural network as a tap classifier. A combination of the tilted angle and the tap classifier allows a user to interact with a peripheral device (e.g. a touchscreen) by rotating and taping the stylus product. A tap classifying system and a stylus product are also provided.

An electric potential of a first output signal output by the first output terminal of the adjustable amplifier is related to electric potentials of the input signal, the first signal terminal and the second signal terminal.

Abstract: A capacitive touch device and a sensing method thereof are disclosed. The capacitive touch device includes a touch panel, at least one touch detection unit and a processing unit. The touch detection unit scans the touch panel, obtains an N-bit sensed data and compresses the N-bit sensed data to an L-bit sensed data. The processing unit receives the L-bit sensed data, decompresses the L-bit sensed data to the N-bit sensed data and calculates a coordinate of a touch according to the N-bit sensed data. The present invention is capable of decreasing the time for transmitting the sensed data, the power consumption and the requirements for the memory capacity of the touch detection unit and the memory capacity of the processing unit.
