Abstract: The conductor wire surface for constituting a circuit formed by print or junction on a substrate formed from a composite member of ceramics, resin, and an inorganic member and from a resin member is coated with glass, resin, solder, or silver paste, thus the corrosion resistance can be improved, and a highly reliable electronic device for car use can be provided. Further, the probing portion necessary for adjustment of the resistance and characteristics and the mounting portion for mounting parts are formed in a shape having no corners at 90° or less, for example, in a circular shape, in an elliptical shape, or in a shape that the corners of a tetragon are rounded (R) or chamfered (C).

Abstract: A speed region of a motor is divided into a region lower than a first switch speed VS1, a region higher than a second switch speed VS2 and a region between the first and second switch speeds. An abnormal load determination level to be compared with an estimated load obtained by an observer is set for each of the regions. An abnormal load determination level AL4 applied when an acceleration exceeds a threshold value is set. The abnormal load determination level AL4 is used for comparison with the estimated load until a predetermined period of time elapses after the acceleration to be commanded to the motor, which once exceeded the threshold level, drops. In other cases, the estimated load is compared with the abnormal load determination level having a value according to the speed. If the estimated load exceeds the compared abnormal load determination level, it is judged that a collision is detected.

Abstract: A microcontroller is disposed on a receiving part of a wireless system in order to process a demodulation signal generated by a receiver circuit, and includes a memory and a CPU. The memory stores a control program of the microcontroller. The control program thereof includes a dual loop routine for an operation in reception standby mode. The dual loop routine has a first loop and a second loop included in the first loop. The CPU has an instruction set consisting of a plurality of instructions, and executes the instructions according to the program stored in the memory. The CPU executes an instruction irrelevant to an operation when the microcontroller is in reception mode during the second loop a number of times. The number of times is at least such that noise caused by the repetition of the second loop is lowered below a desired level.

Abstract: A degradation diagnosis method for simply performing degradation diagnosis of a gas sensor such as a hydrogen sensor. The hydrogen sensor has a reference detector member and common detector member, with each detector member respectively constituted of a detector element and temperature compensating element that form a pair. Power is normally supplied to the common detector member, which performs concentration detection of the hydrogen gas. When performing degradation diagnosis of this common detector member, concentration detection is performed simultaneously by each detector member for the gas of the prescribed hydrogen concentration by supplying power to both the common detector member and reference detector member and comparing the output value of the common detector member and the output value of the reference detector member.

Abstract: The invention provides a noncontact measuring system for electrical conductivity, which uses a microwave. In the measuring system for electrical conductivity, the microwave generated in a network analyzer (NA) 110 is guided to a surface of a silicon wafer (sample) 160 through a waveguide 130 and a sensor 140. The surface of the silicon wafer 160 is irradiated with the microwave, and the sensor 140 receives the reflected microwave. The electrical conductivity of the silicon wafer 160 is measured in such a manner that a computer (personal computer) 120 calculates the electrical conductivity from an amplitude ratio A and phase difference θ to a reflected wave of the silicon wafer 160, which is determined with the network analyzer 110. The computer 120 performs not only the calculation of the measurement but also whole control of the measuring system such as positioning of the sample.
