Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide method and devices for signaling transmission in unlicensed band. The method comprising determining a signal transmission pattern, which defines time and frequency resources for transmitting at least one signal in a first frequency band; signaling, via a second frequency band, the signal transmission pattern to a first device; and transmitting the at least one signal via the first frequency band, to the first device, according to the signal transmission pattern; wherein a transmission of one of the at least one signal is skipped if time and frequency resource for the transmission defined by the signal transmission pattern is detected as busy. Corresponding methods and devices for receiving a signal which is transmitted using above method are also disclosed.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX). In a method for communication, a first terminal device of terminal devices in a communication network obtains a sidelink DRX configuration. The first terminal device determines, from the sidelink DRX configuration, a sidelink DRX cycle including a first duration during which sidelink communications are allowed to be performed among the terminal devices and a second duration during which the sidelink communications are not allowed to be performed. The first terminal device performs, during the first duration, a sidelink communication with a second terminal device of the terminal devices. With the embodiments of the present disclosure, terminal devices can efficiently communicate with each other using sidelink DRX operations.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to method, device and computer readable medium for reporting the failure of the conditional handover (CHO) attempt. The method comprises obtaining configuration information about candidate cells for conditional handover of the terminal device. The method further comprises initiating at least one conditional handover attempt to the at least one candidate cell. The method also comprises in response to determining that in response to that at least one conditional handover attempt to the at least one candidate cell in a conditional handover procedure is failed, storing failure information of the at least one conditional handover attempt. In this way, a new mechanism of the failure reporting may be achieved.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and devices for reference signal (RS) transmission. In example embodiments, a method implemented in a network device is provided. According to the method, a first set of RS resources are determined for RS transmission by the network device. The first set of RS resources are associated with a first number of RS ports to be used for RS transmission and correspond to a first set of resource elements (REs) interpolated with unused REs in frequency domain. A first RS configuration for RS transmission is generated based on the first set of RS resources. Information on the first RS configuration is transmitted to a terminal device served by the network device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to resource allocation for feedback in groupcast communication. A method comprises identifying a plurality of destination devices for reception of data from a source device in groupcast communication; in response to the number of the plurality of destination devices being below a threshold, allocating resources to the plurality of destination devices to enable feedback transmission associated with the reception by the plurality of destination devices; and in response to the number of the plurality of destination devices exceeding the threshold, disabling feedback transmission associated with the reception by the plurality of destination devices. By flexibly allocating resources to the destination devices, it is possible to facilitate identifying destination devices that miss the data or control information and save the resource consumption.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable mediums for resource selection. The method comprises generating a sequence of a reference signal for Physical Sidelink Shared Channel, PSSCH based on a scrambling identity derived from a Physical Sidelink Control Channel, PSCCH; determining a time-domain resource based on the frequency-domain resource and partially based on an overlap relationship between a first set of resources allocated for the PSCCH and a second set of resources allocated for the PSSCH; and mapping the sequence to the time-domain resource and the frequency-domain resource for transmitting the reference signal. In this way, the reference signal could be transmitted via PSSCH efficiently in a case that the resources allocated for PSCCH is overlapped with the resources allocated for PSSCH.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and apparatus of transmitting a reference signal and a method and apparatus of receiving a reference signal. In one embodiment of the present disclosure, the method of transmitting a reference comprises receiving a reference signal configuration indication, wherein reference signal resources are divided into at least two reference signal groups, and the reference signal configuration indication indicates a reference signal configuration including a reference signal group configuration; and transmitting the reference signal using a reference signal sequence in a reference signal group as indicated by the reference signal group configuration, wherein the reference signal sequence can be multiplexed with another layer or another user in different reference signal groups. With embodiments of the present disclosure, reference signals for different layers or users can be multiplexed in different reference signal groups and thus, more mu-users with unequal allocated bandwidths can be supported without significant channel estimation loss and Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) loss.
