Abstract:
The present embodiments relate to a hinge for use in a mobile toilet having a toilet bowl, a toilet seat, and a toilet lid, wherein the toilet seat and the toilet lid each are swivel-mounted to the toilet bowl by the hinge and have a common pivot axis. Furthermore, the present embodiments relate to a damping device for retrofitting a hinge. The present embodiments also relate to a mobile toilet. In particular, the present embodiments relate to the problem to allow an easy retrofitting of a hinge and mobile toilets, respectively. This problem is in particular solved with the initially described hinge that in accordance with the present embodiments has at least one receiving area that is formed to receive at least one damping device for damping the swivel motion of the toilet seat or the toilet lid about the pivot axis.
Abstract:
A tailgate of a motor vehicle has an opening apparatus configured to avoid overshooting during opening of the tailgate. The opening apparatus is connected to a silicone damper to bring about a damping action in the opening direction and a freewheeling action in the closing direction. Additionally, the opening apparatus is configured so that closing of the tailgate and lock actuation are not impeded.
Abstract:
A shock-absorbing damper for absorbing the impact force generated during the opening/closing of a furniture door, the damper including: a load pin in a housing to move back and forth during the opening/closing of the furniture door; a main valve coupled to the load pin to form a first flow path; a check valve coupled to a guide bar of the main valve in a manner to form a second flow path; a guider coupled to the main valve to guide the fluid flow; and a pressure adjuster interposed between the main valve and the check valve to vary the first flow path. The pressure adjuster and the guider are provided in the shock-absorbing damper to vary a flow path corresponding to an opening/closing load of the furniture door, thereby opening/closing the furniture door at a set speed regardless of the size or weight.
Abstract:
A rotary damper has a damper body having a receiving portion, and a rotor rotatably disposed in the receiving portion of the damper body. A space between an inner circumferential surface of the receiving portion and an outer circumferential surface of the rotor is divided into a plurality of pressure chambers. A rotation speed of the rotor is controlled to be at a low speed by a flow resistance of fluid filled in each of the pressure chambers when the fluid flows through gaps between an inner surface of the receiving portion and an outer surface of the rotor opposed to each other in a direction of a rotation axis of the rotor. The damper body and the rotor are relatively movable in the direction of the rotation axis of the rotor.
Abstract:
A hinge assembly is provided comprising a toggle type hinge (10) with a linear damping device (13) arranged with its longitudinal axis parallel to the axis of movement of the hinge. First and second actuating devices (19, 30) are provided for operating the damping device. Means (20, 32, 55) are provided for activating the first and second actuating devices in response to movement of the hinge.
Abstract:
A hydraulic hinge buffer assembly for a door has a fastening device, a buffering device and a clamping device. The fastening device has a holding mount and a pivot block. The buffering device is mounted in the fastening device and has a pivot pin and a piston element. The pivot pin has an abutting face and at least one holding hook. The piston element is mounted between the holding mount and the pivot pin and has a pushing piston. The pushing piston has a pressing face selectively abutting the abutting face and at least one engaging hook axially formed on and protruding from the pressing face and engaging with the at least one holding hook. The clamping device is connected to the buffering device to rotate relative to the fastening device and has two clamping panels.
Abstract:
A damping mechanism has a housing body defining a cavity with a central axis, a threaded section disposed with female threads revolving about the central axis and a smooth section; a rotating shaft inserted into the cavity; and a piston, wherein the piston comprises a threaded section disposed with male threads revolving about the central axis and a piston head. The threaded section of the cavity and the threaded section of the piston constitute a screw-on fit relationship between the female and male threads. The piston head is clearance-fitted or seal-fitted with the smooth section of the cavity. An axial hole section of the piston is clearance-fitted or seal-fitted with the rotating shaft. The rotating shaft is provided with a radially outwardly-opening and axially-extending oiling slot on the sliding path of the piston head while the depth and/or width of the oiling slot changes gradually.
Abstract:
A hinge (10) for mounting a door (14) on a piece of furniture, comprising a hinge arm (12) fixable to a fixed part (11) of the piece of furniture and a box (13) fixable to a door (14) of the piece of furniture, swingably connected to each other; the hinge further comprises a linear-type decelerating device (22) arranged inside the box (13), having a fluid-type decelerating cylinder (23) and return spring means (24), operatively connected with each other, which extend parallel to and spaced apart from each other. The fluid-type decelerating cylinder (23) is arranged in proximity to a side wall (18′) of the box (13) and the return spring means (24) are arranged in proximity to the opposite side wall (18″) of the box (13).
Abstract:
A door closer assembly is provided, including a valve regulating an amount of hydraulic fluid that flows through the valve. The amount of hydraulic fluid flowing through the valve controls a force generated by the door closer assembly on a door. A first sensor measures an angular position of the door, and a second sensor measures an angular position of the valve. The angular position of the valve determines the amount of hydraulic fluid flowing through the valve. A controller controls the adjustment of the valve based on the angular position of the door and the angular position of the valve.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a damping device for movable furniture part, comprising:—a damper housing,—a fluid chamber which is arranged in the damper housing and in which a piston is movably mounted,—a tappet which is connected to the piston, at least one seal being arranged between the damper housing and the tappet in order to seal the fluid chamber, wherein the tappet passes through the seal,—a compensating chamber which is fluidically connected to the fluid chamber, which runs laterally parallel to the fluid chamber, and in which at least one deformable compensating body is arranged in order to compensate for a volume change due to the tappet being immersed into the fluid chamber, said deformable compensating body and the at least one seal being designed together as a single piece.
