Abstract: A hydrogen gas supply system for a hydrogen consuming energy converter arranged onto a vehicle comprising a plurality of tanks for storage of pressurized hydrogen gas, wherein each tank is provided with a valve configured to control the flow of hydrogen from the corresponding tank into a flow line connected to the hydrogen consuming energy converter, wherein the plurality of tanks comprises one or more primary tanks, each of which being provided with a corresponding primary hydrogen flow control valve, the plurality of tanks further comprising a secondary tank provided with a corresponding secondary hydrogen flow control valve, wherein the hydrogen gas supply system is arranged so that the secondary tank contains a smaller maximum working amount of pressurized hydrogen, and/or so that the flow of hydrogen from the secondary tank is restricted.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to an electrically powered mobile fluid supply system (MFSS) for supplying fluid to a host unit. The MFSS comprises at least one pressurized fluid volume, a fluid dispenser fluidly connectable to the host unit and configured to supply fluid from the at least one pressurized fluid volume to the host unit in a fluid supply operation, and at least one compressor configured to build sufficient pressure for the fluid supply operation in the MFSS. The MFSS is configured to be electrically connected to the host unit and the at least one compressor is configured to be electrically connected to the MFSS and electrically powered by the host unit during the fluid supply operation.
The disclosure further relates to a method for supplying fluid to a host unit, to a control unit configured to control the fluid supply operation, and to the MFSS.-

Abstract: An electrolyte station is used for electrolyte replacement in a redox flow battery that is mounted to a vehicle. The electrolyte station includes: a stand that includes a connector that connects to a connection socket that connects to an electrolyte tank in the redox flow battery; a recovery tank that stores a recovered electrolyte; a filling tank that stores a charged electrolyte; a recovery line that connects the connector in the stand and the recovery tank; and a filling line that connects the connector in the stand and the filling tank. In response to the connector being connected to the connection socket, the electrolyte station enables the used electrolyte removed from an electrolyte tank to be recovered to the recovery tank through the recovery line, and enables the charged electrolyte stored in the filling tank to be supplied the electrolyte tank through the filling line.

Abstract: In a fuel cell vehicle and a method of controlling the fuel cell vehicle, when a gas pressure in a high pressure tank becomes less than a first threshold pressure, the SOC of an energy storage device is increased to a margin SOC. When the gas pressure becomes a second threshold pressure which is lower than the first threshold pressure, the amount of fuel released from the high pressure tank is limited to prevent the occurrence of buckling, and limit the travel driving force by the motor to a required limit. At the time of limiting the travel driving force, electrical energy of the energy storage device is used to provide assistance in a manner that the travel driving force by the motor becomes the travel driving force of the required limit.

Abstract: A redox flow battery includes a battery cell, a tank which stores an electrolyte to be supplied to the battery cell, piping which is connected to the battery cell and the tank and configured to circulate the electrolyte, a container which houses the battery cell, the tank, and the piping all together, and a partition wall which is provided inside the container and prevents the electrolyte from leaking out of the container. The height of the partition wall is equal to or greater than a liquid level height at the time when a predetermined amount of electrolyte leaks into the container as a consequence of damage to the piping, and the predetermined amount includes the total of an amount equivalent to the volume of the battery cell and an amount equivalent to the volume of the piping.
