Abstract:
A method and system are disclosed herein for accepting multimodal inputs and deriving synchronized and processed information. A reusable multimodal application is provided on the mobile device. A user transmits a multimodal command to the multimodal platform via the mobile network. The one or more modes of communication that are inputted are transmitted to the multimodal platform(s) via the mobile network(s) and thereafter synchronized and processed at the multimodal platform. The synchronized and processed information is transmitted to the multimodal application. If required, the user verifies and appropriately modifies the synchronized and processed information. The verified and modified information are transferred from the multimodal application to the visual application. The final result(s) are derived by inputting the verified and modified results into the visual application.
Abstract:
Telephone numbers are identified and highlighted on any computer document being loaded into a graphical user interface (GUI) for viewing by a user. The user may click on any particular highlighted telephone number in the computer document while displayed in the GUI window in order to store the telephone number together with any desired context information associated therewith.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus to manage voice message system attributes are described. One example method includes presenting at a mobile device a user interface of changeable attributes associated with a plurality of voicemail systems; receiving a change to one or more of the changeable attributes; receiving a designation of the voicemail systems to which the change is to be applied; and sending the change from the mobile device to the designated voicemail systems.
Abstract:
Interactions with a user are coordinated upon receiving, at a networked interactive system, audible communication from a user and interacting with the user in the audible communication in accordance with an audible format menu. Whether to provide the user with a visual format menu that at least partially matches the audible format menu is determined during the audible communication. The user is provided with the visual format menu concurrent with the audible communication upon determining, based on the interaction with the user in the audible communication, to provide the user with the visual format menu. Interactions with the user are in accordance with the visual format menu.
Abstract:
A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, utilizing a first communication device for identifying a user interface adaptation according to operating characteristics of a second display of a second communication device, identifying first and second user interface portions according to the user interface adaptation, presenting the first user interface portion at a first display of the first communication device, transmitting the second user interface portion to the second communication device for presentation at the second display of the second communication device, and enabling user interface navigation that includes the first and second user interface portions as a single user interface based on user inputs received at the first communication device. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Abstract:
A system and method for managing access to entry points in a graphical user interface on a communication device are provided. The entry points are associated with services such as message services and are actuatable to invoke a content listing display for viewing content associated with a given service. One entry point provides access to a unified inbox for display of messages received or sent via a plurality of message services. Other entry points provide access to other message services or filtered views of the unified inbox. Access to the various entry points is provided via a user interface displaying one or more user interface elements, such as icons, pointing to the various entry points. Display of the elements is managed so as to hide elements pointing to potentially duplicative views.
Abstract:
Various embodiments of the invention provide a tool for reviewing the content of communications conducted between parties. A communication is analyzed between a first and second party to determine the words present. A set of keywords are developed that represent a subset of the words determined to be present in the communication. Occurrences of the keywords in the communication are mapped to times at which they occur. An interface is provided to a user that displays a representation of the communication comprising an identifier, such as an icon, representing a particular occurrence of a keyword with respect to a timeline. The user can search, locate and review a corresponding portion of audio containing the occurrence of the keyword. This may involve playing the corresponding portion of the audio containing the occurrence of the keyword and/or displaying the corresponding portion of a transcript of the audio portion.
Abstract:
Various embodiments of systems, methods, and computer programs are disclosed for managing question submissions in an online event produced by an event producer. One embodiment is a method comprising: a conferencing system establishing an audio conference between one or more speakers and a plurality of listen-only viewers; presenting an event production user interface to an event producer and a viewer user interface to the listen-only viewers, the event production user interface configured to enable the event producer to control the viewer user interface during the online event; receiving, via the viewer user interface, a text question submitted by one of the listen-only viewers for presentation to one or more speakers; and the event producer selecting the text question, via the event production user interface, for live audio presentation by the listen-only viewer via the audio conference.
Abstract:
Presented are systems and methods for presenting conference call information using a mobile conferencing system. The mobile conferencing system classifies a call type parameter as a conference call based on conference details. The mobile conferencing system joins a mobile device to a teleconference using the conference details and the call type parameter. The mobile conferencing system then displays an active call graphical user interface, wherein the graphical user interface displays at least part of the conference details.
Abstract:
An arrangement for generating a telecommunications application (such as a voicemail application) is described. The arrangement provides a graphical user interface that enables a user to select telecommunications application building blocks and to position and connect those blocks on the display in order to define an algorithm. The algorithm can be implemented using pre-defined modules for said building blocks.
