Abstract: Apparatus transmits an identifier for association with a virtual area by an administering network service, generates output data from human perceptible stimulus in a physical space, transmits the output data in connection with the virtual area, receives input data associated with the virtual area, and generates human perceptible stimulus in the physical space from the input data. A persistent association is created between the apparatus and a virtual area. A respective presence is established in the virtual area for a communicant operating a client network node connected to the virtual area. A respective connection between each active pair of complementary sources and sinks of the client network node and the apparatus are administered in association with the virtual area. A client network node displays a graphical user interface, establishes the administered connections, and presents interaction controls associated with the object for interacting with communicants in the physical space.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for telephone call information collection and retrieval. A receiver device receives a telephone call from a caller device. Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for searching and labeling the content of voice conversations. An Engagement Intelligence Platform (EIP) analyzes conversation transcripts to find states and information for each of the states (e.g., interest rate quoted and value of the interest rate). An annotator User Interface (IU) is provided for performing queries, such as, “Find calls were the agent asked the customer for their name and the customer did not answer;” “Find calls where the customer objected after the interest rate for the loan was quoted, “Find calls where the agent asked for consent for recording the call, but no customer confirmation was received.” The EIP analyzes the conversation and labels (e.g., “tags”) the text where the conversation associated with the label took place, such as, “An interest rate was provided.” The labels are customizable, so each client can define its own labels based on business needs.

Abstract: A computing device is described that accepts, a telephone call, from another device, initiated by a caller. Prior to establishing a telephone user interface that receives spoken input from the user and outputs spoken audio from the caller, the computing device executes a call screening service that outputs an audio user interface, to the other device and as part of the telephone call. The audio user interface interrogates the caller for additional information including a purpose of the telephone call, which allows the user to have more context of the telephone call before deciding whether to accept the call or hang up. The computing device outputs a graphical user interface associated with telephone call. The graphical user interface includes an indication of the additional information obtained via the audio user interface that interrogates the caller.
