Abstract: Provided is an antioxidant capable of coating the surface layer of a coal deposit (coal pile) and further reducing the amount of oxygen permeation into the inside of the deposit. The present invention is an antioxidant for coal, containing an oil-in-water type resin emulsion having an average particle size of emulsion particles of 0.3 μm or more and 1.0 μm or less. The antioxidant preferably further contains a surfactant. The worker sprays the above antioxidant on the coal deposit. This forms a consolidated layer on the surface of the coal deposit that is highly effective in suppressing oxygen permeation. Therefore, the permeation of oxygen in the air atmosphere into the inside of the coal deposit is blocked, thus preventing the oxidation of the coal.

Abstract: A lithium ion battery comprises a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal, a battery case, and an electrode body housed inside the battery case. The electrode body has a positive electrode current collector and a positive-electrode electrode plate and a negative electrode current collector and a negative-electrode electrode plate, and has a structure in which the positive-electrode electrode plate and the negative-electrode electrode plate are laminated via a separator. A carbon-based porous material in a battery case has a methane gas absorption capacity and preferably has a carbon dioxide gas absorption capacity and has a pore volume of 0.3 mL/g or less, for pores having a pore size of 4.5 Å or more. Such a gas absorber for a lithium ion battery generates no gas from reaction with an electrolytic solution of the lithium ion battery and can suitably absorb methane gas generated at the time of abnormality.

Abstract: A purification method for an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution includes subjecting the aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution to a reverse osmosis membrane separation treatment with a high-pressure reverse osmosis membrane separation device. The high-pressure reverse osmosis membrane has a denser skin layer on the membrane surface and is therefore lower in an amount of membrane permeate water per unit operating pressure but higher in the rejection rate of TOC and boron, as compared with a low-pressure or ultralow-pressure reverse osmosis membrane. The high-pressure reverse osmosis membrane permeate water is preferably further subjected to an ion exchange treatment with an ion exchange device including two or more columns packed with gel-type strong ion exchange resins.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for suppressing a decrease in the concentration of an isothiazoline compound, wherein even if an addition concentration of the isothiazoline compound used as an antibacterial agent is low in a water system, the decrease in the concentration thereof can be suppressed so that the residual rate thereof after 24 hours can be raised. The method is carried out in a manner wherein to a water system, an isothiazoline compound is fed with an addition concentration of 0.2 mg/L or more and less than 1 mg/L, and a combined chlorine agent consisting of a chlorine stabilizer and a chlorine-based oxidant is added so as to maintain a concentration thereof at 0.3 mg/L as Cl2 or more and 6 mg/L as Cl2 or less therein.
