Abstract:
A device to implant impurities into a semiconductor wafer has a process chamber having a wall, a pressure compensation unit, a disk to support a plurality of semiconductor wafers within the process chamber. The disk has a radially extending slot arranged among the wafers. A beam gun is positioned within the process chamber to shoot an ion beam at the semiconductor wafers. A cryo pump minimizes the pressure within the process chamber. A first ion gauge is positioned between the process chamber and the cryo pump. A second ion gauge extends through the wall of the process chamber. A switching device selectively connects the first or second ion gauge to the pressure compensation unit. A faraday receives ions from the ion gun filter after the ions travel through the slot in the disk. A current meter counts the number of electrons flowing to the disk faraday to neutralize the ions.
Abstract:
A vacuum cleaner includes a first housing defining a cyclonic airflow chamber and a second housing defining a main suction opening that is in communication with an inlet of the cyclonic chamber. A suction source has a suction airstream inlet in communication with an outlet of the cyclonic chamber, and establishes a suction airstream that enters said main suction opening, passes through said cyclonic chamber, and passes to an outlet of said suction source. A substantial portion of particulates entrained in the suction airstream are separated therefrom when said suction airstream moves in a cyclonic fashion through the cyclonic chamber. A main filter assembly, preferably including filter medium comprising polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), is located in the cyclonic chamber so that a suction airstream moving from the main suction opening to the inlet of said suction source by way of the cyclonic airflow chamber passes through the filter medium thereof after said airstream moves in a cyclonic fashion within the cyclonic airflow chamber to remove residual particulates from the suction airstream before it leaves the cyclonic chamber. A HEPA filter can be provided to filter the suction airstream exhausted through the outlet of the suction source prior to the airstream being discharged from the vacuum.
Abstract:
Characterizing traffic conditions by analyzing operational data taken from a wireless communication network to generate traffic information. Location estimates can be made based on processing the operational data. This location can be combined with computerized street maps to measure the time it takes to get from one geographic area to another. By aggregating and analyzing anonymous data from thousands of devices, the present invention is able to determine real-time and historical travel times and velocities between cities, intersections and along specific routes.
Abstract:
A nuclear magnetic resonance imaging technique is applied to objects undergoing translational motion for analysis of objects on a conveyor passing through an imaging unit. The objects are passed through the imaging module at a predetermined velocity (v), in which there is provided: a spatially uniform, constant magnetic field (B0) substantially parallel to the direction of the velocity (v); a linear magnetic field gradient (Gz) substantially parallel to the direction of the velocity (v); and a radiofrequency field (Bz) pulse transverse to field B0. Selected nuclear magnetic resonance parameters from said objects are then detected for subsequent imaging and analysis.

Abstract:
A high temperature rechargeable electrochemical cell which comprises a cell housing divided by a separator into an anode compartment and a cathode compartment. The anode compartment contains an active anode substance which is a molten alkali metal M, the separator being capable of conducting ions of the alkali metal of the anode therethrough. The cathode compartment contains a cathode comprising an electronically conductive electrolyte-permeable porous matrix having, dispersed therein, a solid active cathode substance the matrix being impregnated with a molten salt electrolyte. The cathode comprises also, in contact with the matrix, a porous, electrolyte-permeable reservoir of material which is electrochemically and chemically inert in the cathode environment, said reservoir having an ability to wick the molten salt electrolyte at the operating temperature of the cell which ability is less than the ability of the matrix to wick said molten salt electrolyte.
Abstract:
A system and method for automatically generating orthodontic appliance prescriptions and designs, which utilizes a cloud-based platform integrated with technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and 3D printing. The system operates by receiving Standard Tessellation Language (STL) files from user devices, analyzing these files using STL logic, and comparing them against a comprehensive database of stored STL files. Orthodontic appliance prescriptions are generated incorporating user input and utilizing natural language processing to interpret textual data. Upon selection of a prescription, graphical 3D logic generates a visual representation of the appliance, which is then translated into a 3D-printable STL file optimized for medical-grade materials. The platform may employ feedback mechanisms and AI-enabled features for additional functionalities, such as billing, case tracking, and customer support, while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and quality assurance protocols for the production of orthodontic appliances.
Abstract:
A prescription management system is used by an orthodontic or dental lab and a plurality of prescribing users who send prescriptions for customized orthodontic or dental appliances to the lab. The prescriptions are stored in a database selectively accessible by the lab and plurality of prescribing users. A digital workspace is provided in the system in which the lab or prescribing users may create designs for the customized appliances. The designs of the appliances are stored in the database. A tracking record of fabrication of the appliances is stored in the database. A plurality of billings are simultaneously generated in response to the submissions and storage of the prescriptions, the designs of the customized appliances and the fabrication of the designed customized appliances.
Abstract:
In but one embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a system having a display to indicate the amount of a material being added to a scale. The system includes tolerance indication software configured to indicate predefined ranged tolerances above and/or below the recommended amounts, such that a user is able to identify whether the amount added to the scale for a colorant and/or dye blending material is within the predefined ranged tolerances. In yet another aspect the memory includes instructions to recreate formulas based on a specific product brand. Software can be provided to permit a user to convert the formula, either a portion or the entire formula, to a second product brand.
