    Abstract: A method of communication of distributed devices handling electric energy with communication partners via the Internet includes programming rules in a server. The rules determine between which device and which communication partner a communication connection is to be mediated based on generic properties of the devices, generic properties of the communication partners and an initializing time-variable datum. The communication connection is a point to point, point to multi point or multi point to multi point connection via the internet. Data are transmitted from each device and each communication partner to the server via the Internet. These data include both a communication address and attributes indicative of the generic properties of the device or the communication partner, respectively. The communication connection is mediated between the device and the communication partner determined by the rules in response to a value of the initializing time-variable datum also defined by the rules.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a bridge circuit for providing an alternating current at a phase terminal, having first and second direct current terminals for connecting to a direct current source or load. The bridge circuit includes an intermediate circuit, and a bridge with bridge switches. The bridge receives potentials at the direct current terminals and outputs potentials at first and second bridge outputs and a second bridge output which are clocked independently of one another based thereon. First and second connection paths extend between the respective bridge outputs and the phase terminal, wherein each of the connection paths comprises a filter choke. A disconnector with a plurality of relay contacts is arranged between the bridge outputs and the phase terminal. The disclosure relates to an energy conversion system with such a bridge circuit.

    Abstract: An inverter with a rated power of at least 3 kVA includes a first assembly which includes a first printed circuit board and a DC/AC converter stage, and a second assembly which includes a second printed circuit board and an EMC filter for the DC/AC converter stage. The first printed circuit board is mounted on a heat sink and lies substantially flat on the heat sink, and the DC/AC converter stage has converter components which comprise power semiconductors, chokes and link circuit capacitors. The chokes and the link circuit capacitors are arranged together on one side of the first printed circuit board, and the heat sink is arranged on the opposite side of the first printed circuit board, and the chokes and/or the power semiconductors are thermally connected to the heat sink via the first printed circuit board and a thermally conductive material arranged between the first printed circuit board and the heat sink. The second printed circuit board is arranged on the side of the first printed circuit board opposite the heat sink, and a metal sheet is arranged between the first assembly and the second assembly, and the second printed circuit board is mounted on the metal sheet.

    Abstract: The disclosure describes a method for detecting an arc in a direct-current (DC) circuit comprising a DC load, a DC source supplying the DC load, and a circuit arrangement arranged between the DC source and the DC load. A power flow P between an input and an output of the circuit arrangement is suppressed by means of a switching circuit through cyclical interruption such that the power flow P is enabled in an active time window with the first period Δt1 and the power flow P is suppressed in an inactive time window with the second period Δt2. Via detection of an input current Iin flowing at the input and/or an input voltage Uin applied to the input and comparison of values of the input current Iin and/or input voltage Uin detected in the inactive time window with a current threshold value ITH or a voltage threshold value UTH an arc presence criterion is signaled if the input current Iin detected in the inactive time window falls below the current threshold value ITH and/or the input voltage Uin detected in the inactive time window does not exceed the voltage threshold value UTH. The application also describes a circuit arrangement for detecting an arc and a photovoltaic (PV) inverter including such a circuit arrangement.

    Abstract: A method for acquiring a characteristic curve of a PV generator is disclosed. In a power generation installation, an output side of each PV generator is connected via an assigned DC-DC converter, in parallel to a DC link as the input element of a DC-AC converter. The method includes reducing a cumulative output power of those DC-DC converters for which the associated PV generators are not intended for acquiring the characteristic curve during the acquisition of the characteristic curve of the PV generator to be scanned to ensure that the sum of the reduced cumulative output power and of the expected maximum power of the PV generator to be scanned does not exceed a nominal power of the DC-AC converter, and subsequently acquiring the characteristic curve of the PV generator to be scanned.
