Abstract: An aircraft comprises a fuselage, wings connected to the fuselage, engines connected to the wings, and liquid hydrogen tanks. Each engine in the engines comprises a nacelle, an electric motor within the nacelle, a fuel cell stack within the nacelle, and a nacelle heat exchanger within the nacelle that receives air flowing through an inlet in the nacelle. The liquid hydrogen tanks are configured to store liquid hydrogen, wherein the liquid hydrogen tanks extend along an outside of the fuselage and above the wings and below windows in the fuselage.

Abstract: Thresholds for flooring in an aircraft are described herein. An example aircraft includes a subfloor, first flooring material on the subfloor, second flooring material on the subfloor, and a threshold at least partially between the first flooring material and the second flooring material. The threshold includes a vertical body portion having a top surface, a bottom surface, a first side surface, and a second side surface. The vertical body portion has a concave area extending into the second side surface at the bottom surface, and wherein a second edge of the second flooring material extends into the concave area. The threshold also includes a ramp portion extending from the first side surface. The ramp portion has a decreasing thickness from the vertical body portion to a distal end of the ramp portion. The ramp portion is positioned between a portion of the first flooring material and the subfloor.

Abstract: A data processing system for generating predictive maintenance models is disclosed, including one or more processors, a memory, and a plurality of instructions stored in the memory. The instructions are executable to receive a historical dataset relating to each of a plurality of systems, including maintenance data and operational data. The instructions are further executable to display one or more algorithm templates and one or more data features calculated from the operational data, in a graphical user interface. The instructions are further executable to receive a selection of an algorithm template, a data feature, and a value of a parameter associated with the algorithm template, and to train and evaluate the selected algorithm template on the selected data feature according to the received value. The instructions are further executable to display a result of a metric of the evaluation, and generate a predictive maintenance model using the selected algorithm template.

Abstract: A fluid ice protection system for an aircraft includes a plenum back wall and a fluid delivery network. The plenum back wall is affixed to an interior surface of an inlet cowl of a nacelle of the aircraft to define a plenum between the interior surface and a front surface of the plenum back wall. The nacelle surrounds a rotor assembly of an aircraft propulsion system. The inlet cowl defines a plurality of perforations through a thickness of the inlet cowl. The perforations are fluidly connected to the plenum. The fluid delivery network is coupled to the plenum back wall and configured to supply an anti-ice liquid into the plenum for the anti-ice liquid to penetrate through the perforations onto an exterior surface of the inlet cowl along a leading edge section of the inlet cowl.

Abstract: A method of obtaining a measurement of a part using depth data from a plurality of sensors comprises obtaining first depth data of a monument and a part from a first sensor and second depth data of the monument and the part from a second sensor. A plurality of planes is detected in the first depth data and the second depth data. Each plane of the plurality of planes corresponds to a corresponding face on the monument. The method comprises performing a rotational alignment of the plurality of planes. The method further comprises performing a translational alignment of the rotationally aligned plurality of planes. One or more transformations are determined that align the first depth data and the second depth data to a common coordinate system based upon the rotational alignment and the translational alignment. A measurement of the part is determined based upon aligned depth data.

Abstract: A sealing assembly and associated shaft assembly is disclosed. The sealing assembly comprises a primary seal at a sealing interface between a first sealing face of a first seal ring and a second sealing face of a second seal ring. Abstract: A method is provided for generating a three-dimensional (3D) visually representative model of a vehicle. The method includes receiving images acquired from a number of viewpoints of different sections of the vehicle, and performing photogrammetry on the images to extract a profile of the vehicle. The method includes creating a wireframe mesh or point cloud from the profile, and generating the 3D model of the vehicle. The images are processed to determine areas on a surface of the vehicle in which a defect is detected, and markers are appended onto respective areas of the 3D model that correspond to the areas on the surface of the vehicle such that the defect is appended onto the 3D model. And the method includes generating a display of the 3D model of the vehicle including the markers that indicate the areas on the surface of the vehicle in which the defect is detected.
