    Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which a radio service is provided. A radio access network intelligent controller (RIC) system may provide the RIC service. The RIC system may include a non-real-time RIC, a near real-time RIC, a real-time RIC and machine learning or artificial intelligent devices that include radio network information of the corresponding time scale. The RIC system may provide RIC control for bounded performance metrics, such as latency and reliability.

    Abstract: A device may obtain, from a user equipment (UE), first information relating to one or more signal strengths measured by the UE. A signal strength of the one or more signal strengths may be associated with a beam of a radio node. The device may identify, based on the first information, a particular signal strength that is associated with a particular beam. The device may select, based on the particular beam, one or more related beams that are associated with the particular beam. The one or more related beams may be associated with the particular beam based on historical data relating to historical signal strengths measured by a plurality of UEs. The device may provide, to the UE, second information that identifies the one or more related beams selected, to permit the UE to communicate using the one or more related beams.

    Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which a mobile edge network-based intelligent routing service is provided. The intelligent routing service includes using default network devices to initially provide application services to end devices. The intelligent routing service further includes selecting and migrating the application services to a multi-layered mobile edge computing network when performance metrics associated with the application services are not satisfied. The intelligent routing service may determine whether performance metrics are satisfied based on performance metric information obtained from the serving nodes and the end devices.

    Abstract: A device may receive data identifying user devices within a geographical area of a base station, respective services provided by the base station to the user devices, the geographical area, an earth station within the geographical area, an infrastructure within the geographical area, and other base stations located geographically adjacent to the geographical area. The device may determine, based on the received data, interfering beams of the base station that interfere with the earth station, and may include data identifying the interfering beams, in a first list of beams to be deemphasized. The device may determine, based on the received data, beams of the base station to be emphasized based on the infrastructure, and may include data identifying the beams to be emphasized, in a second list. The device may control the base station based on the first list and the second list.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for radio beam management for a wireless network are described. An illustrative system includes a memory configured to store instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to determine that a user equipment (UE) device is located at a geographic location, determine a prioritization of beams associated with the geographic location, and direct the UE device to apply the prioritization of beams associated with the geographic location for beam scanning at the geographic location. The prioritization of beams may be generated based on historical beam signal strengths at the geographic location. In certain examples, an analytics engine applies a machine learning algorithm to generate the prioritization of beams based on inputs that include historical beam signal strengths reported by UE devices at the geographic location.

    Abstract: Systems and methods enable a wireless station in a radio access network to apply slice-based admission control. A wireless station receives, from a core network, network slice data for each network slice available via the wireless station, wherein the network slice data includes a slice identifier and corresponding slice status for each network slice; and receives, from a user equipment (UE) device, a service request that indicates a network slice identifier previously assigned to the UE device. The wireless station applies, based on the network slice data from the core network and the network slice identifier from the UE device, admission controls to forward the service request to the core network when the one of the network slices, corresponding to the network slice identifier, is not congested, and delay or redirect the service request when the one of the network slices, corresponding to the network slice identifier, is congested.
