Abstract: An example dynamic packaging display includes a plurality of indicator lights, a temperature sensor, an internal clock, a processor, and a power source. The processor is communicatively coupled to the plurality of indicator lights, the temperature sensor, and the internal clock. The processor is to activate one of the plurality of indicator lights in response to an expiration of a period of time tracked by the internal clock or a temperature that is measured by the temperature sensor exceeding a temperature threshold. The power source is to provide power to the plurality of indicator lights, the temperature sensor, the internal clock, and the processor.

Abstract: When constructing parts by additive manufacturing, it is sometimes necessary to include a support structure during part fabrication, wherein the support structure is subsequently removable. Polymer filaments suitable for forming support structures during additive manufacturing may comprise a polymeric material, and a gas-forming substance admixed with the polymeric material in an effective amount to undergo effervescence when the polymeric material is in contact with at least one fluid comprising a liquid phase. Additive manufacturing processes may comprise forming a supported part by depositing a build material and a removable support (e.g., upon a print bed) formed from such polymer filaments, wherein at least a portion of the build material is deposited upon the removable support. Exposure of the gas-forming substance to a fluid in which the polymeric material dissolves or degrades may promote gas formation to facilitate elimination of the removable support by effervescence.

Abstract: An aqueous ink composition including water; an optional co-solvent; an optional colorant; a sulfonated polyester; and an isoprene rubber. A process of digital offset printing, the process including applying an ink composition onto a re-imageable imaging member surface at an ink take up temperature, the re-imageable imaging member having dampening fluid disposed thereon; forming an ink image; transferring the ink image from the re-imageable surface of the imaging member to a printable substrate at an ink transfer temperature; wherein the ink composition comprises: water; an optional co-solvent; an optional colorant; a sulfonated polyester; and an isoprene rubber. A process including combining a sulfonated polyester resin, water, an optional co-solvent, an optional colorant, a sulfonated polyester, and an isoprene rubber to form an aqueous ink composition.

Abstract: Disclosed herein as a printing method and system which includes providing a substrate and depositing an interlayer composition including a polymer selected from the group of epoxy resins, polyvinyl phenols and poly(melamine-co-formaldehyde) and an interlayer composition solvent on the substrate. The interlayer composition is cured to form cured interlayer. A conductive metal ink composition is deposited on the cured interlayer and the conductive metal ink composition is cured to form a solid metal trace on the cured interlayer.

Abstract: A system and method for treatment of thread includes a thread printer that applies colored coatings to thread. A camera is positioned to capture images of the treated thread after it passes through an outlet of the thread printer. The system processes the images to determine whether the location of a selected segment of the treated thread corresponds to an expected location. If the actual location of the selected segment corresponds to the expected location, the system will continue instructing the thread printer to selectively apply the colored coatings to the thread according to the pattern. However, if the actual location does not correspond to the expected location, the system will modify the pattern so that thread printer adjusts the size of one or more segment to automatically account for the misalignment.
