Abstract:
A compressor has a high-pressure relief valve and a low-pressure relief valve. The high-pressure relief valve in use for a discharge region opens when the pressure of gas in the discharge region is more than a first predetermined pressure. The high-pressure relief valve is provided with a first shim. The low-pressure relief valve in use for a suction region opens when the pressure of gas in the suction region is more than a second predetermined pressure which is lower than the first predetermined pressure. The low-pressure relief valve is provided with a second shim. The high-pressure relief valve and the low-pressure relief valve have similar structure to each other.
Abstract:
A portable, high capacity air compressor system for charging air tanks over wide pressure ranges with maximum volumetric efficiency is characterized by employing a shuttle piston assembly in which piston pairs are arranged with axially aligned cylinder pairs to reciprocate in response to precession of a wobble plate, and each of the pistons is further characterized by being of one-piece construction with a built-in leaflet-type intake valve in its piston head, and a universal connector between each of the piston pairs and wobble plate which is stabilized within a pair of guide rails.
Abstract:
A compressor includes a cylinder block, a chamber housing, a drive shaft, a piston, and a cam mechanism. The cylinder block has a plurality of cylinder bores and a muffler chamber. The muffle chamber is formed within the cylinder block in a space between the cylinder bores. The chamber housing is secured to one end of the cylinder block and has at least a pair of a suction chamber and a discharge chamber located near each of the cylinder bores. The discharge chamber communicates with the muffler chamber. The drive shaft is rotatably supported in the cylinder block. The piston is disposed in each of the cylinder bores for compressing gas to generate compressed gas. The cam mechanism converts rotation of the drive shaft to reciprocating movement of the piston. In the present invention, pressure pulsations are suppressed without increasing the compressor in size even when the high-pressure refrigerant such as carbon dioxide is applied.
Abstract:
A swash plate-type compressor includes a housing having a cylinder block with a plurality of cylinder bores formed therethrough. The cylinder block encloses a crank chamber, a suction chamber, and a discharge chamber. The compressor also includes a drive shaft rotatably supported by the housing, a plurality of pistons positioned within a corresponding one of the cylinder bores, and a swash plate rotatably mounted on the drive shaft. The compressor further includes a discharge path formed between the crank chamber and the suction chamber. Moreover, the compressor includes a check valve positioned within the discharge path. The check valve is adapted to open the discharge path when a first pressure in the crank chamber is greater than a second pressure in the suction chamber and to close the discharge path when the first pressure is less than or equal to the second pressure. Consequently, a refrigerant within the crank chamber is discharged into the suction chamber when the first pressure is greater than the second pressure. Nevertheless, the refrigerant within the suction chamber is not discharged into the crank chamber when the first pressure is less than or equal to the second pressure.
Abstract:
The number of seal members relating to a gas flow control valve can be reduced. A displacement control valve 25 is attached to a fixed coupling surface 193 on the outer wall surface of a rear housing 19. A gasket 45 is interposed between end surfaces 362 and 414 of the displacement control valve 25 side and a coupling surface 193. A sealing elastic layer 452 of the gasket 45 is in close contact with the end surfaces 362 and 414, and a sealing elastic layer 453 is in close contact with the coupling surface 193. A pressure supply passage 30 and a gas passage 413 are communicated with each other via a communication port 454 on the gasket 45. A pressure supply passage 31 is communicated with an insertion recess 33 that is communicated with a valve port 431.
Abstract:
The object of the present invention is to offer an electric type swash plate compressor which is compact and reduced in weight and lightened, and which can efficiently cool down a motor chamber and a crank chamber. The compressor has an electric motor and a swash plate, which are respectively accommodated in the motor chamber and the crank chamber. In the compressor a communication route, which communicates a part except the discharge chamber communicating with an external refrigerant circuit in an inner refrigerant circuit within an outer casing with the motor chamber, is formed. The communication route is formed so as to pass through the crank chamber, and the refrigerant in lower temperature and lower pressure than discharge refrigerant is supplied into the motor chamber and the crank chamber. Accordingly, the improvement of cooling efficiency and the reduction of pressure resisting strength of the casing can be performed.
Abstract:
A variable displacement compressor has a housing, a drive shaft, a rotor, a swash plate, a piston and a decelerating mechanism. The housing includes a cylinder bore and supports the drive shaft. The rotor is secured to the drive shaft. The swash plate is operatively connected to the rotor and the drive shaft so as to rotate therewith and varies its inclination angle relative to the drive shaft. The piston is connected to the swash plate so as to reciprocate in the cylinder bore with rotation of the swash plate. A stroke of the piston varies in accordance with the inclination angle of the swash plate. The decelerating mechanism between the rotor and the swash plate decelerates the inclination speed of the swash plate in a range from a close maximum inclination angle to the maximum inclination angle when the swash plate inclines to increase the stroke of the piston.

Abstract:
An axial piston fluid pumping apparatus is disclosed in which wobble pistons are rigidly connected to arms of a nutating plate that is rotatably mounted on a bearing which is mounted on a drive shaft. The axis of the bearing is at an acute angle to the axis of the shaft. The wobble pistons move within cylinders whose bores are disposed about the axis of the shaft. In one embodiment, the pistons are supported by leaf springs and radially resilient connecting rods and the crankcase is enclosed.
Abstract:
An external control variable displacement compressor varies its displacement based on the pressure in a control chamber. The compressor has a valve chamber defined in a housing. The valve chamber has an opening to accommodate an electrically operative control valve. The control valve controls pressure in the control chamber due to an external electrical signal. An electrical power supply line is connected to the control valve, the power supply line being in contact with an opening of the valve chamber. The valve chamber opening is surrounded by a circumferential wall. An agonic surface formed on the circumferential wall is constituted of a rounded surface formed by rounding a corner of the opening and/or a chamfered surface formed by chamfering a top of the opening, and is formed on a part of or the entire circumferential wall. The power supply line is to be in contact with the agonic surface. Therefore, it is capable of preventing the power supply line from wearing out.
