    Abstract: Hoisting systems are provided for mounting a hub on top of a tower, the hub carrying a first and a second blade forming a bunny ears configuration, and a third blade. The system comprises a crane for pulling up the hub to the top of the tower, and a blade support for supporting the third blade at a supported blade portion. The system further comprises a hub-blade coupling device configured to assist in coupling a root portion of the third blade to a coupling portion of the hub. The hub-blade coupling device comprises a hub mount structure configured to be removably fixed to the hub, a blade mount structure configured to be removably fixed to the third blade, and a connector rotatably coupling the hub mount structure and the blade mount structure. Methods are provided of mounting a hub on top of a tower by using any of said systems.

    Abstract: A method of constructing an electrical machine by assembling a first structure (one of a rotor and stator structure) and a second structure (the other of the rotor and stator structure), along with a plurality of first elements (one of a plurality of permanent magnet elements and a plurality of winding elements) and a plurality of second elements (the other plurality of the permanent magnet elements and winding elements). The first elements are attached to a rim of the first structure, and the second elements are attached to the first elements, this attachment being caused by a magnetic attraction. The first structure is assembled with the second structure such that the second elements are positioned for a posterior attachment to a rim of the second structure, and the second elements are attached to the rim of the second structure.

    Abstract: Floating TLP wind turbine comprising a buoyancy structure, a plurality of braces, one or more tensioned mooring lines for each brace, and a support structure arranged on the buoyancy structure. The braces extend radially outwardly from a region of the buoyancy structure or support structure, each brace having a distal end portion with respect to the buoyancy structure or support structure. Each distal end portion of the braces comprises a guiding element to allow a guided passage of a tensioned mooring line. Each of the tensioned mooring lines is anchored to the seabed at a first end, and attached/coupled to a region of the buoyancy structure or support structure at a second end, said region being above the region of the buoyancy structure or support structure from which the braces extend radially outwardly. Each tensioned mooring line is guided by the guiding element of the corresponding brace.

    Abstract: A method for protecting a permanent magnet generator of a wind turbine with a multiphase generator, and n number of isolated converters, the multiphase generator including a rotor carrying permanent magnets and n number of independent multiphase sub-stators comprising a plurality of windings, each converter being connected to an independent multiphase sub-stator and configured to control the plurality of windings of the multiphase sub-stator comprises determining an asymmetrical short circuit current in one of the sub-stators, which generates a first oscillating torque, disconnecting the converter linked to the sub-stator with an asymmetrically short circuited group of windings, and injecting an asymmetrical current with the remaining connected converters, wherein said injected asymmetrical current generates a second oscillating torque that is substantially opposed in phase to the first oscillating torque so that the first oscillating torque is at least partly compensated is disclosed. Permanent magnet generators are also disclosed.
